  • Great for your Beast

Great big tire chew for your great big dog. We have a 13 month old 110 pound yellow lab who has never gotten past the chewing phase. This tire is great fun for him and just about the right size for him not to destroy it (yet). It did smell like a black rubber tire just like you'd kind of expect, but the smell went away quickly. I added a little spray cheese inside or peanut butter and he was in heaven.

  • Disappointed

    By on

I wanted to love this toy! I have a very heavy chewer and thought I had finally found something that would hold up to his strong jaws, but within 10 minutes of chewing on it little black bits of rubber were coming off. He must have swallowed quite a bit before I noticed it because the next day he threw up a little and it was black. My dog love it so much, but it just wasn't sturdy enough for him.

  • Not for extreme chewers!

    By on

My pup (a 70lb black lab mix) has a small Extreme Kong tire that he absolutely loves and has yet to put a dent in (one of the only toys he hasn't destroyed). I thought this TireBiter would provide the same level of fun and durability, but it failed to hold up. Within minutes, my pup had chewed chunks of tire off. I am giving this toy two stars because my dog loves it and I'm sure it would make a great toy for non-chewers, but it is not a toy for extreme chewers like my pup.

  • REPEAT BUY x10 !!

Hanging from a rope on a big heavy tree branch !! Great exercise, training and play for my 2 German Shepards. These tires are real type with tread making them tough and allow for alot of bite and pull force can be applied without any issue. Perfect size too for great grip. One thing, this tire has a stink to it, best kept outdoors for all applications. I have purchased more than ten of these Mammoth Tires now and will surely be back for another and another !

  • Might not be the best for a puppy or a small dog.

    By on

I was very pleased with this at first. It is very big and lets my yorkie puppy do some heavy chewing. As long as she chews on the inside rim, it works great. She doesn't even make a mark but the outside has very tiny paw treads and her tiny teeth are able to chew those off. She ends up with little pieces of rubber that she could then swallow. I have taken it away for now and will either keep it until she gets a little bigger or try it for the big dogs. I'm hoping that bigger teeth will work better.

  • It taste like a real tire

    By on

My dog will not play or bite it, not sure why I believe it or not put it to my mouth since he loves to bite anything and anyone chewing on something, he will not touch this tire. I am using it to put his toys in. I am thinking of trying to soak it with something to take the awful tire taste away. Would not buy again. Still looking for toy that he does not pull apart.

  • Not for dogs with big/strong teeth!

    By on

We bought this for our 5 month old Labradoodle puppy and he had chewed off pieces of the inner circle within 10 minutes!! The outside is great but like any "tire" , that inner circle is very thin. I would have rated it one star, except we are able to use it as a throw toy with him so didn't totally have to trash it....just can't let him have it to chew.

  • Overbearing Stench!

    By on

The price I paid for this toy was amazing. I could not wait to give it to my two dogs (I bought 2). My dogs won't touch them. The smell is extremely overbearing, especially in the house. So I placed them outside in the hopes the smell would lessen up. No such luck. I wish they could make these with less of a pungent smell. Then maybe my dogs would enjoy them. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get rid of the smell I'm all ears!

  • Great for big dogs

Our dog loves to chew and destroy and since she is over 70lbs she is quite powerful but this tire is a good match for her! At first I thought it was a little too large but she carries it around with ease and loves chewing on it. Our dog was able to pull pieces of rubber off but she just spits it out and keeps chewing; entertains for for long periods of time!

  • poor quality Material

    By on

I was so excited to give my lab his new monthly toy. Within 10 minutes, literally, he had it torn apart in about 100 pieces. I was so disappointed after that. I had to throw it away so he wouldn't choke or eat these rubber pieces. What a waste of money. Im sticking to Kong brand Stuff from now on!
