Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

I am disappointed that this is not available at the moment. My girls have put a lot of loving into tearing this toy apart. It has withstood constant chewing from our Rottweiler who will literally chew anything she can get her jaws on. It still has some life in it and I was looking forward to getting another one.
This toy looked like it could stand up to my amstaff’s tough jaws however within 10 minutes of playing tug o war the tire was crumbling all over my floor complete with wire pieces which ended up in my grandsons’ feet! Waste of money! It was completely unusable in less than 24 hours.
My thought on this on is "mixed review." On the one hand, it's one of my Belgian Sheperd's favorites, and he has been chewing on it for 3 months. He loves dragging and carrying it around by the rope, and gnawing on the tire and the rope. It has stood up better than most other "durable" toys we have, which he either isn't remotely interested in (like things that rhyme with 'tongs') or likes but decimates ("tough" plush toys, etc). The tire smells very toxic though, so who knows what's in it and I wouldn't leave him alone with it to potentially consume the small pieces he bites off. He definitely eats bits of the rope. Anyway, he loves it, it has lasted a long time, but I am not sure I'd buy this again.
Another crappy toy. I purchased this toy for my dogs and it did not last two freakin days. Waste of my hard earned money again. This is the second toy I have recently purchased from y'all that has not held up as it claims it will. I am very disappointed in the maker of this toy and you as a company for selling it. Do not get me wrong. I love Chewy for some things but the toys y'all sell do not live up to the claims they make. That's a shame because y'all are a great company otherwise. Please try to get toys that live up to the statements that they make. Thank you
this toy didn't last 10 minutes before my lab had it in shreads, ate the rubber and threw up for 2 days
They have the right idea with this toy. It was great, seemed tough enough but our extreme chewer started ripping off pieces of the tire within days. So I don’t think the toy itself is bad, but not suitable for dogs that tend to destroy toys.
My 80 pound pit bull Lily has not destroyed this in two days like most “tug of war toys.” Have had for about a month and only worn down some of the rubber. Rope is still intact and able to be played with. Tough chewer approved.
We have two dogs who are super chewers and usually a new toy wont last the day we get it! This one has yet to be torn and we have had it for about a month. I would highly recommend this toy if you are looking for something to last a wile.
My dog is an aggressive chewer and loves this toy. We have great play time together using the TireBiter.
Our Rottweiler/Pit Bull mix tears through almost every “tough” toy we’ve ever bought him. This includes Kong toys! We did cut the rope out because we don’t like to use those for our dogs so I’m not sure about how sturdy the rope is. But the tire is the only toy that has lasted throughout his life, it was one of the first toys we bought him when he was 12weeks old and now at over a year he still has it and plays with everyday!! It looks nearly new, and we are 100% satisfied.
