okay but...
i bought 3 of these. at first they were great. especially for tight spaces. and very quiet. after a while, all 3 of them started to vibrate really bad and get louder. even after being cleaned. it will drive you mad trying to stop the vibration and the vibration itself. i will be looking for other small filters unfortunately. i had hopes for these.
Marina slim s-10 power filter
I love this slim filter. Fits great on my new 10 gallon aquarium. Love that it already has a sponge on the intake so my baby shrimps don't get sucked up. Also it has a place to turn up or down the water flow. Best of all it self primes incase of power outage. I was even able to run a small bag of purigen. Works great. Thank you.
barely works
This is the worst filter I have ever purchased! It is complete garbage and barely even works! Save your money and frustration and get a different brand!
Check for cracks!
The first filter I got had a hairline crack in it that I didn't notice and it dripped on my plug and started a small fire. Customer service was very helpful and the second filter worked fine. My tank is nice and clean. Just be sure to check over your new filter to make sure it's whole!
Best filter ever owned!!
This is the absolute best filter I have ever bought! Easy to clean love the clear design and price was perfect. I love its adjustability inside tank and also a way to level it externally to whatever tank you put it on. Love the easy to add filters and adjustable flow also. Overall would definitely buy again it is 5 stars and better than any other I have ever owned.
Nice little filter
This filter is super quiet and I love that it is self-priming. I also like the space it has for a bio bag.
Best Filter
I have this on a 5 gallon betta tank and it works fantastic. Really low profile, has a adjustable flow rate, and allows for custom media to be used. The price is great and so is the filter!
perfect size for my tank
I wait to write reviews because products break down after a while. Had this for over a year. Tried a few other filters but this one works for my vertical 15 gallon tank. Replacing the filters are easy and it’s pretty quiet. I replace the three filters in the back and the one in the water.
Great until-
Loved it for the first month, super quiet, did its job and extremely cheap. But, after only a month it began getting louder and louder. I would have to start moving the wire in different positions to get it to be quiet again. Eventually it got too loud and now I have to buy another one because I already stocked up on filters.
Horrible Filter
I would not recommend this filter because it states you can put your own type of Media in the filter or use the filters that fit the aquarium filter. Well neither works because it doesn't matter how clean the Media is, the water still overflows and my aquarium is so cloudy I can't even see the center of my aquarium. I was excited when I first saw this filter but once I received it I realized it fails at keeping my aquarium clean or clear.
