Bought these on a whim and very pleased with them. I have temporary small tanks set up for quarantine of a few new betta and they maintain the temperature during the winter very well. Both tanks have thermometers to keep a check on temp. The only negative thing about these is that there is no set temp Bought these on a whim and very pleased with them. Perfect Heater for a Betta

    By on

Works like a charm for my 2-gallon. It keeps the temperature of the water between 78 and 80 degrees.

    Works well now

For the first week, this seemed to be inconsistent, but now I have been using it for over a month and haven’t had more problems with it. Works well for my small tank.

Heats well but does not regulate temperature

    By on

Our beta likes this heater and often swims around it repeatedly in his tank, which is just a bit larger than a gallon. It does not regulate temperature as advertised, however. We have come home to temps as high as 89 degrees and must plug and unplug this heater multiple times a day to regulate temperature. There must be a better way!

    Nice and Cozy

    By on

I got a betta for my office. Being its in an older building and they don't keep the temp consistent. I could tell his water was getting colder than it should be. so I opted for an heater. I plugged it in and pop it in his tank and he loves it. He is always making his bubble nests and swimming around and being very social. Mr Blue is very happy fishy now.

    86 Degrees in 3 Tanks

    By on

Bought 3. Just checked my tanks and they're all at 86'!!! This could have cooked my fish. I'm glad I took it out after the first day or two. Avoid this and invest in something with a quality digital thermostat. My fish are worth much better!

Works great for the small aquarium.

No need to worry that the house temperature will effect the water temp.
