  • Didn't Last Long

I bought this plant for my betta in a 5 gallon tank. It looked great for awhile, but once I did my first water change and took it out to rinse it, it lost its shape. It wouldn't stand on its own and the leaves fell off, so it really wasn't doing anything for my fish. I'm not sure if I just got a dud, or if they aren't designed to be used for awhile, but I threw it away after about 2 months.

  • It was an alright purchase

I like this product but unfortunately it fell apart after I got it. When I opened the box some of the pieces had already fallen off. The product is not too expensive so it's not that big of a deal, I may of just got a bad one.

It's not as soft as I thought it would be, but it's still really nice. My betta definitely seems to like it.

  • Good, but wrong material

    By on

I bought this along with another fake plant for my beta fish. Its made of a soft plastic but not silk. I was expecting it to be softer.

  • Very good product

only issue I had with this product is that a couple of the leaves were missing when I got it. the leaves do come off very easily but they are very easy to pop back on.

  • Silk only for our betta!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

After noticing our poor betta had tore his fins, and learning the plastic plants we had in his tank were too harsh on his fins, we decided on all silk plants for him. Its recommended bettas only have soft plants as their fins are very fragile. It was a learning experience for me! So after deciding silk was what we needed the first place i looked was chewy! Yay! They had some! Our betta swims through this plant with ease and seems to truly love his new "fin approved" silk plant. His fins already look better. If you didnt know this plant was fake you would think it was real. Very happy.
