Perfect for the price
By Susan on Feb 17, 2021
Perfect for the cheap price. Adheres well to tank but I can easily remove it and use it to measure new water temp before I add to tank during water changes. Numbers hard to read but green safe area lets me know at a glance how the temperature is doing. I have 2 - I bought the first one in a pet store and bought this one as spontaneous purchase when ordering gravel for another tank.

Gets the Job Done - puts temp. concerns out of my mind
By betaboo on Jan 4, 2021
this thermometer is fine. It’s not excellent or perfect but it does read the temperature in my 2.5 gallon tank with a filter, live plants, and 1 beta. my cons: it’s a lil chunky (i feel like it could easily be more compact for space and aesthetics), the red that shows the temp is actually extremely thin making it quite difficult to read. I have to move back and forth up real close to see it, and the suction cup holding it inside my tank has developed some algae or gunk on it that my snail hasn’t been into cleaning. I take it out to clean and it has come back. my pros: it’s cheap, it tells me the temperature (yay), and despite the cons it works, i hardly ever think about it I just read it everyday this thermometer is fine. Good value, simple solution
By Ellen on Dec 31, 2020
I’m delighted with this inexpensive thermometer. It bobs inconspicuously on the surface of my pond outdoors. I find it easy enough to read within a few degrees so I know when to slow down or stop feeding my pond goldfish. Before I had expensive probes with remote connection to a multiple temperature display indoors. Those always needed battery changes and didn’t last. In this case, simple is a whole lot better.

Works fine
By Thermometer on Feb 18, 2021
A little hard to read because numbers are small but it’s fine for a backup for the heater. We just wanted to make sure heater thermometer was working right.

Great product
By Jecn on Feb 9, 2021
Very precise, my 4 stars responded to the fact that is very difficult to see the readings. It could become a 5 star review the day it comes with bigger numbers to see.

Might need a 3rd
By Greenery on Jan 16, 2021
Well if you have 2 thermometers reading 2 different temperatures, I guess you need a third one to calibrate them. I'm sure this one works fine, I think my heater is off.

Not very durable
By Thermometer on Nov 24, 2020
The first thermometer we ordered broke and Chewy sent a replacement. So far after 4 months the thermometer is still working this time but the suction has given out and no longer holds the thermometer on the tank wall. Doesn't seem to be a very durable item. And Chewy does not seem to want to replace a second time despite calls into customer service.

Do not use on turtle aquariums.
By Frank on Jan 7, 2021
I purchase these for all my fish aquariums. Works wonderfully! However do not use in a turtle aquarium. My turtle suddenly bit it off the bottom and broke it.

Need glasses
By Sandy on Jan 4, 2021
The idea seemed good. It sticks to the side of the tank and is sturdy enough. Only problem is the writing on it is so small I can't read it!

Thermometer

It works but is very hard to see. Hat to use a magnifying glass to get a good reading.
