I also got lock-on pans missing their lock on hardware, though Chewy immediately sent me a replacement when I inquired for free. Even ordering 2 together, I got 2 different colors (a minty green and a pearly purple). I have 2 ferrets and they readily use this litterbox. It has plenty of room for them right now to put their whole body in (they're 4 months old, not fully grown). Very good large litter pan at a great price compared to else where (at time of writing, they're about $11; similar pans elsewhere are $20-30). Would recommend, just expect that it's a 50/50 shot as to whether they send the clip on bits or if the clip on bits are durable.
Missing the attachment to connect to a cage. I saw reviews where it broke for others but I never even received on. I gave two stars because it's still usable. It's big and low enough where my senior dwarf rabbit can use it comfortably. It's also difficult to get the label off.
sturdy litter box--perfect for my 5~lb rabbit. i cycle using used hemp bedding as litter (scattering more on top as he uses it. concur with other reviews regarding the sticky residue from label. 2 min fix with goo-gone i had in cupboard and a scouring pad
My two 4 month old ferrets broke the attaching screw in less than a minute. I drilled two holes in the back so I can use zip ties to attach it. Kind of a pain in the rear. Not worth the money.
I got the litter box that attaches to the cage at the back for my 2 baby bunnies. Even as babies, this was too small for them. There was no way this was going to work for adult rabbits. I ended up getting large cat litter boxes.
I've used these boxes for my ferrets for years. Much better than the small corner ones. I drilled two small holes on either side in the back. Secured them to the cage with pipe cleaners. They hold tight and are easy to remove for cleaning
It took maybe 10 seconds for my ferret to strong-arm the box right off of the bars. It was tightened all the way; he busted loose the part that connects to the box itself.
Overall really happy with it. My rats are learning to use pretty well. The only thing is that it is a tad larger than expected, but it hasn't been a set back.
The bunnies are enjoying it
I recently adopted two little ferrets and they instantly used it when they first got into their cage. They fit great in it. My only issue was it was missing the lock when it arrived but once I contacted customer service they instantly shipped me another one. Besides that def ferret approved.
