Don’t Feed This… Health Issues

Never ever feed Marshall Ferret food to ferrets. Ferrets Are Obligate Carnivores which means ONLY Meat, there are certain foods that are reasonably priced and much better for ferrets. When picking a kibble for your ferret, find a cat food with the first 5 ingredients being meat based, try to avoid peas, lentils, and fruit. These will lead to expensive vet bills down the road. Ferrets are highly intelligent and extremely personable pets, so you want to treat them right, not like a “rodent”. If you can’t afford to feed raw, I recommend a mixture of Wysong digestive support(ferret food) and Orijen Regional Red(Cat food)/ or Oxbow Ferret food. There are great groups to be apart of that will help you to treat your ferret right. I hope this helps!

Shipping was awesome

Now, Marshall’s is terrible for ferrets so I can’t give a very high review, unfortunately it’s all the rescue ferrets eat. Also highly expensive but regardless. I do enjoy Chewie’s shipping though, because the food came with a toy for little Ms. Toast!

Well...

So honestly, I want to switch due to the high pricing each time. But due to my ol' lady. I can't. She has insulinoma & can't handle switching in this age. Due to it affecting her levels, movements, etc. Plus, she's a Marshall's ferret, so she's imprinted on this food. This is getting more and more expensive each time. It's getting ridiculous. My hands are tied.

Price Change Every Month? Why??

Every month, this food keeps getting more expensive to where I'm paying over $50 every time I need it shipped. This is really ridiculous considering the first time I ordered. It was under $35. I'm not going to be buying this again. For $50, I'd recommend getting a higher quality food for your little buddies. Either that or they lower the price again.

Yummy!

It isn’t about me. it’s about Mika & Zika. They are extremely finicky eaters. I am glad I could find this Marshalls Ferret food that they were raised on since they were kits. I have been unable to get them to eat other brands. I ordered and it came in a few days as expected. They love it and I will be back when they need more.

Extremely expensive

Why is this getting more and more expensive every time I order it? This purchase was my last one. my ferret is 9 years old now and very fragile but I’m forced to change to another brand by this ridiculous price. Who can afford that?

So expensive but the only stuff they will eat

My picky little fluffs of fur will only eat Marshalls food. I'm just getting disgusted at the price.

Marshall Premium Ferret Food

Excellent source of meat if unable to feed your ferret raw meat.

It’s my favorite ferret food BUT

I love this ferret food, and so do my ferrets but it’s more and more expensive every month. Either I’m going to have to change foods or the price will need to come down

My 4 Fuzzies will only eat this food

I have 4 ferrets , our last ferret passed away from liver cancer 8 years ago. He was 9 yrs old and ate only Marshall’s. Did some research when got my 4 kits , have tried them on Wysong , Instinct cat food which I stopped because it has Pea flour in it and this is bad for ferrets. When weaned them off Marshals and tried on other foods , each time they had horrible diarrhea. So they are back on Marshals full time and love it and no diarrhea due to the fiber from the corn meal that’s in it. On Marshals their fur and skin is healthier and eyes are brighter and they have much more energy than the wysong and high dollar cat foods I’ve tried them on. I also like to grind marshals in blender and add duck soup mix and chicken baby food for their “ soupy” at night. They lick the bowl clean! Sticking with Marshall for my happy and healthy foursome , all from same litter and born on Halloween, so are are almost 15 months old. When out for free play thru try to get in good bag , they love it.
