Start at the rear of your pet and work your way forward brushing in the direction of hair growth. Repeat until coat is smooth and shiny. For severe tangles, use the Martha Stewart Double-Sided Comb before brushing.
At first I wasn’t crazy about this brush. I like to brush my cats to help remove the hair so it doesn’t end up all over my house and they seem to enjoy the attention. Win - Win This particular brush one of my cats didn’t like and the other it didn’t seem to do anything to remove her hair. We have a neighborhood kitty that desperately needed grooming and it was perfect for him though! It was very gentle and totally did the trick removing hair. I brushed him for a good 30 minutes straight and he loved every minute of it and I couldn’t believe the amount of hair that was removed. With that said, I think it depends on the type of animal and fur!

Best Dog Brush
The best dog brush I have ever bought. I've owned 6 dogs, all with long thick hair. We've tried many brushes, but this one takes the cake.

Don't Bother

Brush that doesn’t brush
I was so disappointed with the Martha Stewart brush for my dog. It just doesn’t get down into her fur it flimsy and feels cheap. Thank you.

Martha Stewart Dog Brush
Brush was too soft to remove shedding puppy hair from my 4 mo old Berner. Pretty sure would not detangle her longer cost when it comes in either.

Dog brush by Martha Stewart
Brush is too flimsy to do any detangling. Maybe better for cats.
Martha Stewart needs to stick to cooking.......
