Effective grooming tool

I generally use a dental pic or a seam ripper, to gently work out any matts. I decided did try this tool, and it works well in certain situations.

Works for Cats too!

I used this product along with a de-shedding tool to remove mats from a stray Persian who recently adopted us. The tangle splitter could have been a little sharper, which is why I rated it 4 stars, but it is well worth the money. I highly recommend that anyone taking on a grooming project with a long-haired cat that has mats have this onhand.

Mat Hair Splitter tool

I was happy to get this product I have an original Oliver mat splitter tool from a long time. It was my Mother’s grooming tool. This tool work perfect on my Papillon’s hair knots.

This tool helped me slice through matts perfectly without having to resort to cutting them out. Was able to just cut through and brush the mats out and save the coats!

This is a great mat splitter, have used one for years.
