Works well on my cat's mats
By KittieFurHelper on Jul 7, 2021
I've had this tool for a couple of weeks. It does work on helping me get the mats out of my kittie's long hair. It also seems to be helping to thin out her undercoat. It's still a lot of work, but this tool is definitely helping.

mats fit to fix
By linda on Jun 13, 2021
This tool is about the only thing that will cut through mats, my groomer told me about it and i rushed out to get one and keep it on hand. especially for the ears and tail. shes a poodle mix and a morky. they are great together.

Didn’t work for my kitty
By Deee on May 6, 2020
Didn’t take small mat from my kitty coat. Knew where was and after repeated attempts didn’t remove.

Perfect groomer
By Dematter on Apr 16, 2020
My Himalayan gets fur clumps under her neck, arms/legs. This cuts through for quick removal , long teeth. Slick and quick . Highly recommend for a long haired cat .

Did not work.
By MrsD on Jan 29, 2020
I finally had the need to try this dematting comb, & much to my disappointment, it does not work at all like described. My kitties are well groomed, but will get an occasional mat in what I call, the armpit area. This comb never made the slightest difference in the mat. I will be returning it.

Dull blades?
By Pixieshuman on Jul 8, 2019
I bought this for my rescued angora-mix rabbit who is badly matted. I’m not sure if it’s his hair texture (fine but very thick) my technique (novice), or the tool (I got the 12-bladed one) but the blades seem really dull. They certainly don’t make a dent on his fluff. The two stars are for the solid construction and uniquely small size compatible with a 4.5 lb rabbit.
