Complete waste of money
The coating on this had glued the fine times of this comb together. I took dental floss and broke the tines apart but now the tines are rough and snag and rip coat. I thought this would help cut down winter static but it's totally unusable.
The best combs for grooming.
I love using the 4 inch for taking mats out. It is the best comb for it. I wish I could demonstrate it. First brush the fur up and make it fluffy. Take the comb comb through the dog. Each you find a mat pull the lose hairs out of the comb and you will see how little the mat really is. Doing this removes the mat from the undercoat and leave the rest of the hair. I was amazed how little hair I remove from my mid size Golden-Doodle. He is 40 pounds. You will notice the undercoat it lighter in color. I you can not pull threw part of the little mat pull the mat gently apart and comb again. I do not need rakes or drag the slicker brush through him. I can gently brush murphy to lift the hair. I have been groom my dogs and cats for year and I alway go to Chewy for my product. Best prices and returns if needed. Chewy is my household name. Thank you Chewy. I have 4 little combs 2 of the large size ones. I have been groom my pets for years. This is the best find. I have 8 dogs 9 cats and a parrot. I am on the third generations and most of them were recused form the outside that people did not want any more. 2 dogs were badly abused.
Smaller Than Described
This comb is listed as being 7x4, but it’s barely 3.5x2. Very disappointed. I was so excited to find this comb because it’s exactly what my groomer recommended for our Pomeranian. Now I’m not sure I can even use it.
