My cat is in love
My cat loves this thing. This is where he lives now. He did learn the hard way not to put all of his weight on one end or the other when standing up and getting off of the bed :D but that didn't phase him, he still hangs out on it. It has a sturdy wood frame, the instructions for multiple configurations were included, the pictures were clear and easy to follow. The holes for the screws are set into the frame, so that there are no screw tops protruding, which I appreciated. Sturdy, cat friendly design. And it looks nice in my living room too. Overall, this is a really good alternative to some of the more expensive, large figure-eight scratcher/loungers.
needs better quality cardboard
I really like this piece and so do my 3 cats. The issue is the cardboard needs to be more dense. Where you screw into the boards needs reinforced (anchor like) area as it gets to wobbly fast and not stable. Screws are lost, but I had screws on hand that work better. I found a set of two dense angled boards on chewy that look nice and hold up much better for less$. Mau pets needs to listen to their customer’s suggestions. This is a simple fix. I would my multiples if this was resolved.
The perfect cart scratcher
Just got this cat scratcher and my cat is obsessed with it. She loves scratching it and has also made it one of her favorite sleeping spots. I also like that when the cardboard gets shredded, you can keep the wooden frame and only change the cardboard.
A must
Henry loves his scratcher. He was always laying on his precious one which was curved so I got him this more stable one where he can scratch and lounge away!
Wonderful horizontal scratchboard
My cat prefers horizontal scratching, and she even naps on this thing. The only downside is that she can't really scratch the middle very well. Both ends get well-used though. I'll buy another one eventually to put in another room, but only refills for now ^^
Very nice
Both cats are enjoying this, both for scratching and lounging. Very easy to put together with excellent instructions. And they provide a little Phillips screwdriver along with the screws!
cats love it, I hate it....
My cars adore this but I have to say I'm going to throw it away instead of getting a refill...the cardboard shreds and shreds and does not hold up.... the cardboard shreds get tracked everywhere. The furbabies are going to truly miss it when it's gone but the shredded cardboard is a disaster.
MY CATS LOVE THIS
What a great product. So much better than the cardboard boxes that move. I ordered one and it came today - both cats have used it and seem to be so happy to have a scratching "post" that they like. I had to come order a second one so they each have one....since now they are taking turns sitting on it like a bed (which they never ever ever have done.)

This is a great little scratching bed and my cat loves it. I like the wooden edge so my dog doesn't chew on it. Looks great too.
