nice Thought - for Chewy
When I receive the Mau Lifestyle Cardboard Cat Scratcher, Medium , was not impressed with it and wanted to return it. I emailed Chewy’s customer service asking for a refund & return information. They replied back and was sorry it didn’t work out for us. Refunded the card and requested if the product is still in good condition to donate it to our local cat shelter is SPCA. Thought that was a nice & wanted to post a positive feed back . At least for the company.
Poorly built so you can't assemble as shown
I started to assemble the scratcher and it was going well until it was time to attach the legs. The holes on the scratcher frame do not match up with both holes on the legs as shown in the pictures online and in the instructions. I tried to attach the legs to have the scratcher stand up, but you can't tighten the screws enough so that it stays upright! It's definitely one of the nicer looking scratchers out there, but I'm going to have to drill extra holes now to get it to stay together.
Great Product
Took a chance; glad I did. This turned out to be a great product. Both cats love it and use it regularly. Noticed less scratching on furniture. Will need replacement inserts sooner than anticipated; but, I consider that a good sign. Sturdy in incline position with cats weighing 8/10 lbs. considering a second for another room
Stylish and Sturdy - Chonk Approved!
My cat is bulking for winter and recently broke her cardboard lounger. This is a great replacement - love the sturdy wooden frame and replaceable cardboard scratchers. It’s also wide enough for her and so much nicer looking than multicolored cardboard scratchers. Extremely pleased with this scratcher!

Im so glad I found this item at first I was punching in wrong info like just reg scratch pad was not showing up . anyways my cats love these I have to get 2 one for each cat.
So much better than standard cardboard scratchers!
I decided to give this a try since I absolutely can't stand how ugly the standard cardboard scratchers are. This one was incredibly easy to put together (10 mins) and the wood feels and looks very high quality. I especially like that you can install the legs in different ways to accommodate my kitty's preferred scratching position :) We started with the slight incline and will try the different variations to see which she might like best. I also appreciate that it came with extra un-used screws just in case, and that I can order cardboard refills directly from Mau! Highly recommend!
The only scratcher my cat uses
This scratcher is great since my cat tends to knock over or move other posts or pads. This one is very sturdy and does not move through the heaviest of scratches.
Cute Scratcher
What a nice, sleek scratcher! This was super easy to put together, and my kitty started using it right away. Not only does she like to scratch it, but she loves to lay on it too! I also figured out that you can buy refills from Mau's website too. I'd recommend it to anyone!

My cat loves it but without refills it’s useless
My cat absolutely loves this. Even so much as to sleep on it. However, he has shredded the cardboard (which actually gets tracked everywhere, but no matter), and without having refills available, we’ll, what’s a cat to do? I Hope refills become available soon. This is why my rating isn’t any higher.
