This gel was recommended to me by a vet, as a good source of Vitamin A for my turtle. It was a little messy to make, but it's a very convenient and nutritious meal that my turtle loves. One bag feed your turtle for months if you freeze it after making it.

phooey; my turtle refused to eat it
Bought this and made according to directions. My turtle refused to eat it and it just messed up my water filter. Was hoping this would be good healthy food but a waste of money for me. He only wants to eat meat and shrimp, no veggies.

They love it!
My two lovely (separated) female yellow belly sliders love this food!!! They’re each at least 8 years old and quite large. I was looking up quality turtle food for them recently as they stopped eating the food I’ve always given them. This brand was highly rated and is the brand they use in zoos so I bought it and they seem healthier after being on this brand! One of my girls laid an egg after being on this food and having trouble laying in the past and it looked so healthy I was surprised! I ordered the gel not realizing we mix it ourselves but it was easy to mix! I bought small condiment cups (like ketchup cups) and used them to make little meals and they worked perfectly and it was easy to get the food out after refrigerating. I recommend and will be buying again!!

Picky turtle loves it!
I alternate between dried river shrimp and this gel. My turtle is super picky, she won’t eat crickets or meal worms. I was afraid to purchase this and have her turn her nose up at it, but surprisingly enough she loves it. I highly recommend to anyone with a fussy eater of a turtle

Must be prepared
I didn't realize that this is the ingredients to make gel. I thought it was ready to eat. FYI.

Great product!!
My turtle goes nuts over this stuff. Super easy to prepare and you can mix in veggies so they get their greens too. It smells really bad but making it once lasts a month or more for my turtle so it is worth it.
