The ducks LOVE it!
I have tried other pet foods of this brand that my pets would not eat, like the rat food, so I was reluctant to try this floating duck food. But boy am I glad I gave this a try because my ducks and goose go crazy for it. I toss out several handfuls into their above ground pool and they go crazy for it. I love that it does not sink to the bottom and make a mess. My chickens even stand on the sides of the pool and peck up pieces that float by them.
Best duck food
So happy to see chewy carrying Mazuri duck and waterfowl diet , have been using this food for years on our lake , use to have to drive 40 minutes to a Agricultural store to get it , now it comes to our door in 2 to 3 days ! The ducks love it and , I love that it floats on the water for about 10 minutes so the ducks don’t have to come on our property to get it ! Chewy is awesome !!! I get all my dog products there too ! Great service ! Thanks chewy !
Quack! Quack!
The wood& mallard ducks AND Turtles seem to love the stuff! Took a few days for them to get accustomed to my bride tossing them handfuls, but now when she rattles a plastic jug we hold a few pounds at a time, the come quacking and paddling over. The turtles are very quiet, however...LOL. Duck Sugar Pops, since the food balls are light and airy, they float for quite a while.

Not good for your money
Was ordering this and then lost half of my flock.. They must have changed something in the feed. This feed is also super low in protein content so you're paying an extreme amount for waterfowl feed to get underweight ducks unless you end up feeding them double of the "recommended amount". Its nice that it floats, but I'll never buy it again. I messaged the company directly and they told me to switch to Purina.. So if a company is telling me to feed something else that tells me something.

Great for my canal. It floats so the ducks have time to eat it. No mire bread as it is not good for the watwrfowl.
50-lb seems different
I started ordering the 50-lb instead of the smaller size. The last order I received seemed to have a "funny" smell - kind of chemical. It's probably added vitamins/minerals, IDK - but the geese now leave it 'til last, it's no longer a favorite. The ducks will shovel up anything, so at least it doesn't get wasted.

Wows the Waterfowl
Willie the Goose and I became friends when I noticed he had a broken wing and was unable to fly with his flock. That was over two years ago. This nutrient-rich food has restored his feathers AND his spirit. He hangs out with Blondie & Dagwood Mallard, who also enjoy the Mazuri floating food. There is a symphony of honks and quacks when they see me. This is great nourishment to counteract all that bread that people unwittingly feed them!
