One of my cat's can't eat OTC canned food any longer and can only tolerate limited ingredient food now. I give him another brand of freeze dried food but I was looking for a beef flavor which they didn't have. When I search Chewy, I found this so I took a chance and bought it. When I got it, I opened it and gave him a few pellets and he gobbled them up as if I were giving him treats. The next morning, I gave him more, as a meal, but added water and he devoured the whole bowl. He loves this stuff and that me me happy because it's good for him too. I'm also thankful when it's time to clean the litter box! I've since ordered more and I'm going to try the other two flavors as well.

My three cats used to love the old batch that I had purchased previously. But the recent batch that I got, while the ingredients are supposedly the same, I noticed are much darker in color. Also all three of my cats started refusing to eat it unless I mix in canned food. If I switch back to the old batch, they are willing to eat again. So I’m assuming there’s some sort of formula change that’s making them hate the taste.

I am very happy to find something that my cats are eating. Happy that it is nutritionally complete as well.

I have six (6) cats and they all run over to me meowing when I open the bag up. I give as a small dry meal once a day. Good supplement to their regular diet because of all the organ meat ingredients. I was surprised to see the bag was larger than what I was expecting so was well worth the money paid. Expensive but also good quality.

This is the first time I have purchased this brand of freeze-dried.the formula is very good and my two cat both like it.

Fudge & Miso really like this food. I add warm water and they gobble it up!

I don't particularly care for the smell, but my somewhat finicky cat does seem to like the beef flavor. He's less interested in the lamb and I've not yet tried the chicken flavor due to the much higher cost.

My raw beef eater doesn't like this, sadly, but my non beef eater does. Who can figure cats out? I do feed Feline Naturals freeze dried in my rotation, and aside from the Tripe in this Meal Mates, it's pretty similar. It even looks almost identical. Anyway, I love the fact that it has tripe in it, and apparently, so does one of my little guys. I just wish the other did. Oh well. I've been feeding them separate foods their entire lives, so why change that now.

This is a high quality product from New Zealand that is affordable and my kitties like eating it.

Food is in pellet form, approximately 3/4 in. diameter and odd lengths. Easy to ration out and rehydrate. If you are looking for a high meat content this is it. One cat prefers it, the other is a bit pickier but will eat it when his favorite food is not out. Use safe handling guidelines as this is a freeze-dried Raw Food. If you want to feed Raw but want easier to handle and more shelf stable you might want to consider this food. Easy to portion out, rehydrate, impressive ingredients list and well liked by my cats.
