Not the same
I’ve been using this product for over a year and my dogs seem to like it. However recently the last few shipments the texture and smell have changed and it’s almost like it’s old! It’s now very dry and almost hard to break up! Don’t think I’ll be buying again!
my gsp gretchen loves meat mates!
gretchen is 9 yo. her appetite was good, but i noticed she didnt gobble her kibble like she used to. sprinkling just a small handful of this over her kibble, she eats like she did when she was a young dog. i will be a repeat customer.
A New Favorite
I have five dogs and all of them tried this. It doesn't stink too badly but that's coming from someone who has tried the really stinky food so it's definitely a preference. However, it is easy to feed and the one dog I did get it for lovesss it. She looks forward to eating it every single time. The texture can throw other dogs off like it did for another dog of mine. Although my brother's cat came over to investigate it and started to think the entire bag was for him. The protein percentage is a huge plus too!
My dog eats her dog food when this topper is added
My tiny poodles are fussy eaters. They will eat their Health Extensions Teacup food if this topper is added. They do drink a lot of water, though.

Ben likes this product. That's saying a lot for the world's pickiest dog. He will eat this topper, which helps him eat his main meal too. He gets this product on his meals morning and evening. Mom likes the ingredients! Win/Win!
Rocky loves his “Chicky nuggets “
Rocky a 4.8lb. Shiz Tzu won’t eat anything until his Chicken nuggets are added to his dish. The package is sturdy and less flaking happens. I transfer several cups to a OXO push top plastic storage container to keep air tight and prevent flaking. He does like to lick the flakes up too. So not a problem for him. Adding 4-5 nuggets on top of his kibble is how he likes to start off. He’d eat just this if I let him.
This stuff stinks
I got this for my babies so they could have a treat along with their food. They ate it first time around. Didn't want anymore. It smells like fish because of the oil. My cats ended up eating it. Not ordering again!
Still undecided
Trying to get my picky dogs to eat their hard food, not sure if this is gonna work. They smell it and walk away. Still gonna keep trying! Sigh
