natural as can be
By Kalaryn on Oct 23, 2020
I just tried it, all my cats like it. I like the protein percent, lo carbs, no nasty ingredients. I had been feeding feline natural and the macronutrients I. This compares but it doesn’t hurt the pocket book as much.

My cat loves this food
By Jess on Oct 25, 2020
My cat can be very particular, but he loves this food and I love the ingredients. He eats this meal immediately - and licks the plate when he's done!

Not Interested in This One
By Smokey on Apr 21, 2020
We thought I try something different for our cat. Hs is 10 months old so we are trying out new foods. Smokey likes wet with gravy but this one did not -pass the sniff test. The gravy seemed strange - like it might have been frozen and then thawed. This was not a winner. We will donate the cans to the cat shelter in town

Great ingredients and my cat actually eats it!
By Jennie on Apr 23, 2020
My friends poke fun at me for being so finniky about cat food, but this one and also the lamb flavor by MeatMates meets my fussy standards about ingredients and my cat loves both flavors. I love this brand and I hope it sticks around a long time!

A Risky Bet
By Lydia on Mar 1, 2020
My cat wouldn't eat it, but that doesn't mean it's bad. What concerned me though is that Meat Mates brags about having no geling agents, but with the food pulled away from the can and standing firmly up amidst something that looks like gel, I doubt it. Also the food is labelled "not for human consumption," which gives me pause. The food is very pink and appears raw. There are white streaks running through it that are either sinew, fat or the bones everyone mentions. It better be bones since they add no calcium--so don't pick them out.

Very good food
By Yods on Mar 29, 2020
This is a good product.. all 3 cats enjoy it.. it has a pleasant enough chicken smell.. the gelling part a reviewer pointed out is a natural aspect of meat gelling when cooled in a can.. it adds a tasty component to the food, moistening the pate for the cats.

Good food that’s Bad to the bone
By Laur on Feb 16, 2020
I would have recommended this, and my cats did like it, but several cans had bone shards and I’m afraid feed the remaining cans to them

Meat Mates
By Kitties on Oct 22, 2019
I tried this out with my cats (5 domesticate, 5-6 feral) because it had quality ingredients including the organs and included juice, which they want. Unfortunately they are not crazy about it. Even the ferals. It smells good and seems to have all that they should ever want in their lives, but I can only occasionally pass off a can to the ferals once in awhile. I think it’s a quality product but apparently my cats are annoyingly snooty.

Not for my cat unfortunately
By nonickname on Oct 7, 2019
I bought this food for my cat who suffers from severe IBD and needs to gain weight. Alas, it is not to be. She does not like it. Even when I mix it with other cat food she barely touches it. I thought surely the three stray cats who come to eat every day will like it. Well, they eat it under duress. I believe it is good food though and wish Stella would eat it.
