And these days I call that a win, with one IBD cat and another with allergies to beef and rabbit. She LOVES this Lamb Dinner so if it does not give her allergy symptoms as we go, it will be a dry raw food staple. The other two cats were mildly interested, but would rather eat other foods.

My six cats walked away from this light weight dry food. Maybe they didn’t like the flavor of lamb, but they did eat it mixed with other dry cat good. For the price, I’ll stick with chicken and fish or beef.

Cats are in love
By NickyG on Jan 23, 2021
Not only do my cats love this, but I do too! The ingredients are perfect. My cats will eat this as a treat dry and then I wet it down for a meal.

Great product

I bought this for the ferrets here at my ferret rescue. The ferrets love it! It's in a pelleted form, so I don't have to break it up like Primal Nuggets.

Cat Approved

My two cats gobble this food up and never leave a single piece in their bowls. The food itself is in a pellet shape and sometimes they can be quite long but they're very easy to break into whatever size pieces your kitties prefer. One of my cats usually needs a lot of encouragement before she tries new foods but she didn't hesitate to dive right into this brand and flavor.

Use this as treats!
By NicB on Nov 5, 2020
I bought this as food for my siamese kitten with food sensitivities but luckily I found another food with limited ingredients that is a bit less expensive. However, the ingredients in this are great and she does love this stuff! It's much easier to eat or deal with than most raw/dehydrated foods on the market because you don't have to rehydrate it (and I've tried many) and it also easily breaks apart which is good because she has a tiny mouth and has a hard time with some of the bigger chunks of other brands. I highly recommend it if you can afford it! I'm currently just giving it to my kittens as treats to help them get along which is working well.

Cats Don't Like It
By mrsgreenjeens on Oct 16, 2020
Here's what's odd about this product: my cats currently eat Feline Natural's Freeze Dried Chicken and Lamb in their rotation, so I know they have no problem with New Zealand lamb. One of the cats loves the Meat Mates Beef (with tripe), so I know it's not the tripe that is turning him off of this food. But something in this is a "turn off" for both of my cats. I'm pretty sure it's the tripe for the one cat, since he doesn't like the Meat Mates Beef either, (he's a weird one, he won't eat rabbit either), but the other cat....he typically likes lamb, and he likes tripe, so I just don't get it. And I've tried hand feeding it to him a few times now to no avail. High quality food

I always look for products from New Zealand because of their outstanding quality control in pet foods. That being said I still need to be able to afford them. This product was priced just right.

This and only this
By Mercy on Jul 18, 2020
My kibble-only cat will eat this and only this apart from kibble. I break the pellets a little, spray lightly with water and put on top of her kibble. Plus the New Zealand origin is a bonus.

This was a bit hit in our house!
By AutumnColors on Jun 19, 2020 Top 250 Contributor
Had to make a change recently due to allergies (fish PROTEIN and now possibly rabbit), and BOTH our cats devoured this. You have to break up the pieces, but it's easy to do by hand. The pieces are very soft and have no bone in them, which is great for one of my cats that is missing most of her teeth. Looking forward to trying the beef and chicken varieties. Definitely a winner here.
