Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication prescribed by your vet to help reduce pain, inflammation, and stiffness and increase mobility in your pet. Meloxicam Compounded oral liquid is made specifically for your pet.
The oil is very difficult to draw up in the tiny syringes nor is it easily applied with ease into the kitties mouth. It gets stuck, and it’s too thick. The other brand I was using from another company it was way better. It is a traumatizing experience to give my cats this medication this way, I probably will stop using it and will notify Veterinary ambulance as well. An aqueous solution would be much better. You even have to wash the syringes because the solution is so sticky then you lose the lines and how much you’re supposed to administer
I saw much improvement in my cat from this medicine. It is NOT a cure, but it has given us some more time together without excessive pain. I appreciate that you communicate with my local Veterinarian to provide this perscription.
Thank you chewy for having outstanding service in customer care for our beloved pets. Chewy's compounding pharmacy is fantastic. I was so grateful to find a more affordable version of Meloxicam that works just as well for my dearly beloved senior and achy dogs. This medication has given them a pep in their step without any unnecessary side effects! Thank you!
My vet prescribed this medication for my cat. You know the drill, fill the syringe, force it into the cats mouth and administer. Not with the refill I received from Chewy! My cat loves the flavor (tuna, by the way) and now all I have to do is squirt it on a dish and she licks it up! No more trying to capture kitty to give her meds. Thanks Chewy!
This medicine works really well for my dog who has degenerative joint disease. He even likes the taste.
Meloxicam works great! If your fur baby is in need of relief from joint and arthritic discomfort, l recommend trying this. My old dog finds that meds go down easier these days in tiny squirts than swallowing tablets.
My cat Midds is old. I don’t really know how old cause we found her one day but I would say she’s at least 16-17 years old. Anyway, she had stopped playing with hair ties and stopped grooming herself. She’s been eating this for about 3 weeks and already she is grooming herself again and playing with her favorite hair ties. Her fur is soft and fluffy again, overall she’s feeling much better. Thank you!!
