Is it waterproof/stain resistant? I’d love to purchase the white leash, but I’m afraid it is going to get dirty in 5 minutes...

This lead is waterproof.
I see that this lead is waterproof but how would you suggest I clean it? As a volunteer for our local humane society, I walk lots of dogs - some of whom are recovering from serious illnesses.

This lead is machine washable, air dry only.

Seems well build, should last a long time.

I foster dogs and most require double leashing while transporting, with one being this style. That is the only time I will likely use it, but it seems well made and is definitely up to the task. It's thick enough that I doubt a determined dog could chew through it in a car ride.

Handiest leash

Love the ease of use. I bought it specifically to leash kennel dogs and take them outside to their exercise yard. It's adjustable for ease on, then to tighten for walking then to ease off when back in the kennel. I haven't washed it yet, but I'm thinking that put into a lingerie bag it will do well in the washing machine.

used it for the first time and the stopper broke

After a week of getting my boy acquainted with it used it for the first time just now for a walk. It worked perfectly and the pulling has stopped a lot. When I unleashed him now, the stopper which is a leather thing broke off.

A leash that will stay high on my dog's neck.

Best I have found so far. Still working with it and my Beagle mix. Its very hard to keep her nose off the ground since she is a tracker/hunter. It is soft but strong and I'll keep training!

Colors attractive Donated to local rescue they asked for slip dog leashes these appear to be just fine may have gotten carried away but it was hard to pick colors they had so many beautiful ones

Great Slip on rope Leash

Our pet is a Doberman Pincher, he weighs 110 and this Mendota large slip on rope leash works really well as described in the ad. Would highly recommend it.

Much better than the 3/8th inch

If you are looking at this and the 3/8th inch diameter, definitely get this one. The thicker rope is more comfortable on your hand/wrist, doesn't dig in like the thinner one, and more durable. I expect it will stand up against his habit of chewing and playing tug with the leash. Also, the leather and gold accents look so classy!

Definitely not sturdy/poor quality

I purchased this for our English Mastiff pup 8months 160lbs I figured this would be a great lead to use in the house.For training purposes we use leads in the house on our dogs for quick corrections. My concern with this product is the secure clip (brown leather part) isn’t heavy duty for any dog breed. It fell apart within minutes I still use it, I just loop it through the handle but this could pose an issue if it were ingested by a dog or a small child if someone wasn’t aware it broke off. I wouldn’t recommend.
