MENDOTA OBEDIENCE CORD ROPE
By Brando on Jan 22, 2021
No, I don't recommend this as a training leash. The opposite end where the dog handler grips the leash does not have a loop or knot to hold onto leash. When one doesn't have full control of a excitable large puppy or grown large dog using the leash can lead to rope burn. In the event Brutus starts running away the handler needs to loop it around their hand to control the dog. BUT! Wrapping their hand w/the rope runs the risk of rope burn if u can't contain doggie. The product needs a loop or handle grip to better benefit the handler. I've had to run to a tree to wrap the leash around it to stop my runaway large dog during training sessions. NOT FUN! I stand 4'9" so I'm no match for a large untrained No, I don't recommend this as a training leash. Great leash!
By angel on Feb 19, 2021
Although it’s a little on the thinner side I’ve had no problems with it thought my girl would snap it when I first saw it but we’ve had no problems! You can see it on the ground in most of the pictures we take of our pup!

Long Lead Works
By Boomer on Dec 29, 2020
We had to get this item in order to exercise our Lab that had TPLO surgery. It works great. I tied the loose end to make a loop for my hand and I can let Boomer go 20 feet away from me without any problem. It is strong and keeps him where I can see him while out around the woods. I recommend this item.

No handle to hold it.
By Mayzie on Feb 16, 2021
No handle so it didn’t work for training. Called to return and was given full credit. Chewy said to donate it rather than return it.

Totally tethered!
By Debr on Nov 2, 2020
My dog , Zoee, and I live in a mobile home court without fenced yards. Dogs have to be on leashes, so I use this rope as a tether line. It is hooked up to a cable with a pulley on the ceiling of my carport. Zoee is able to come and go as she pleases, and saves me from having to go out with her in inclimate weather. This rope works great for that purpose. It is a win, win for us both!

Long and thin
By cord on Feb 23, 2021
Cord was thinner than I expected and there wasn't a handle, it was just a rope.

great leash!!!
By Betsy on Oct 30, 2020
our 9 month old mini daschaund is full of energy and wants to run and follow scents wherever they may take him!!! This is best lead leash I have found. We live in the country with lots of obstacles (rocks, weeds, trees, etc) and this leash works for us!

Lead, not leash
By STLSuzanne on Oct 17, 2020
This is not a lead that I would use for walks. I have a nice leash with a handle for that. I use this for my rescue when we’re in the back yard playing or working on recall. It gives her room to run while letting me keep her in range. I can tie it quickly to a tree or post if I want to use both hands. It is very high quality and I’m pleased with the purchase.

20 ft lead
By Teeth on Nov 24, 2020
Was exactly as advertised. The only problem is that there was no handle. So I had to knot one end and lost about a foot of lead.
