I received Meow Mix grain free from Chatterbox to let my kitty try free of charge. Oh my word,what a HAPPY kitty he was. He pawed at the bag waiting for me to open it & was thrilled with the taste. He cleaned the bowl,which was a surprise being such a picky eater. I had the bag on the kitchen table & he jumped up to get to it,knowing full well he isn't allowed on the table! One of my cats actually snuck up to the chicken Meow Mix bag while it was still in the shipping box and tore it open, despite having a bowl full of other food like dry food! All four kitties gobbled up both flavours of the grain-free Meow Mix food I put out for them. The same cat that broke into the bag was actually bugging me for more once the bowl was empty. I give them both wet and dry food, so it was nice that they have both available without grains. Overall I was impressed with this cat food and would definitely recommend to car parents. My cat is very finicky when it comes to dry cat food. She has refused to eat several kinds. Well, for the very first time ever, she scratched the bag open and began eating Meow Mix Grain Free Wild Salmon dry cat food. I was shocked. This has become the only food that she wants to eat. I highly recommend it. It has a great taste that my finicky cat loves. Plus it is nutritionally balanced so I know her dietary needs are being met without the fillers or artificial flavors. I was excited to try Meow Mix Wild Salmon Grain-Free Dry Cat Food. Being Salmon I was wondering about the aroma. no fishy smell infact very pleasant savory smell. The bites have several shapes one being hearts.From the minute I put it in eskimo's bowl he dived right in. Cleared the bowl and was looking for more. He has been on it for a couple of weeks now and is doing great. I love that this product is grain free with protein in the first few ingredients along with natural flavors. My oldest cat is 5 yrs old (Pepper) and he prefers chicken flavored dry cat food but loves tuna flavored wet food. My 2 yr old cat (Boogs) he loves table food, but will eat cat food. My older cat loves chicken and doesn't usually like fish flavors. My younger cat is the opposite, thereby costing me as much as possible in cat food, since I do try to accommodate each of their preferences. That's why I expected one to love this food and the other to be more like "meh". Actually, though, they both LOVED it! I did have to introduce it to them slowly, and even with Cats be crazy. I was excited to try Meow Mix® Grain Free cat food with Wild Salmon Dry Cat Food for free from Chatterbox. My two cats normally eat Meow Mix cat food so I figured this new variety would be great. The food looks appealing and my cats immediately went over to check it out. However, after sniffing it for a few minutes, they had no interest in eating it. After about a day, one of my cats nibbled at the food but, after several days, the food is still there. I think my cats just prefer food with grain, haha! I've been feeding it to my cats for over a month now and they seem to love it. They're eating well and it seems like I'm always refilling their bowl. Both of them are happy and healthy and haven't had any GI problems (If you're a cat person, you know what that means) since starting this food.
