These syringes are a bit unstable and too sensitive to the touch. My dog needs insulin twice a day. I try to be as gentle as possible and was doing great with my previous syringes, but with these it's difficult to put in the right dosage without it shooting out before I even pierce the skin. Don't like these and really miss the Covidien syringes I had been using for years. The Merck brand is more expensive as well.
I do not like these syringes. You can’t really tell when injecting when it’s empty. Also my cat does not like them either. I hope they’re not pinching him or hurting him. They feel cheap compared to the monoject ones we usually use. But those were sold out and these were the only ones available and were double the cost. Terrible for the amount of money they cost.
So much easier than going to my vet after ordering them ahead!
These are ok, I don' like the red lines. It's really hard to see the lines when filling with vetsulin. Black lines are better. The overall quality is not as good at the Monoject syringes that I usually use.
Needles not sharp also they leaked price also changed to much will not use again vet is cheaper quality it also better chewy do better you are gonna go out of business like that
These needles seem to be a bit flimsier than the MonoStat needles which were my regular purchase. Also, the red unit numbers are much more difficult to see. If there were no other choice, I would purchase again.
The syringes are fine, I just wish I could get discounts, its very expensive between syringes and insulin
These syringes are individually wrapped in a sanitary plastic package, which is a pain in the neck. They are extremely small in diameter, which makes them feel flimsy and bend easily. The markings are printed in light red color, which makes them hard to read and easier to mistake. There is no safety cap over the end of the plunger. All factors considered, I much prefer the common Vetsulin syringes.
Great product great price compared with other services and fast delivery
After almost a year of managing insulin injections, my helpers and I are skilled at administering them without hurting the dog. But with the Merck syringes, my dog yelped every time and started to get nervous when she knew the shot was due. Worse, several times I saw insulin dripping from the needle tip just before injection making it impossible to know how much of the dose the dog actually received. A glucose check at the vet showed she wasn't getting enough. I bought another brand of syringe from the vet and have had no more problems. Painless and no drips. Insulin injections are crucial to the health of my dog . A syringe that a) hurts her and b) does assure accurate delivery after being carefully measured is unacceptable. I will not order them again and would advise others not to.
