where are these treats sources and produced?

Merrick crafts their recipes with the world's best ingredients from the best producers. Most of their ingredients come from the USA, however, in certain circumstances some ingredients may come from another country (like lamb and venison from New Zealand) to ensure the highest quality possible. Each and every ingredient must meet Merrick’s own rigorous quality standards. Ingredients are tested upon arrival, samples are tested throughout production, and all pet food is tested before its released for sale.
Are these soft and easy to tear into small pieces for a tiny dog, or a dry, stiff jerky?

Perfect for allergies
My dog has terrible allergies to most foods/treats and these are great for him! He gets very excited when he hears the bag opening. They smell just like jerky.

Too Soft, Too Few in Package
My three Keeshonds love the taste of these but there weren't many in the package and they were so soft they broke up when I was taking them out of the package. The package lasted about 3 days for my 3 medium sized dogs - too expensive for me to use regularly.

What a Good find
