These treats were initially intended for my dog that has skin allergies. My other dog decided she liked them too. Therefore, I had to double my order! Chewy.com is great! Everything was delivered in one day!!!

My dogs love these treats! They are bite size and make it a great treat to give my greyhounds every day.

My dogs love these and they are soft enough that my older dog with a few missing teeth can eat these
Finally, chicken-free duck sausage!

Merrick has gotten really bad about stuffing their products full of chicken and beef, cheapening them and making them completely unsuitable for dogs with allergies. I was excited to see they started making sausages again, especially when I read the ingredient list and found NO CHICKEN! My dog loved their individually-wrapped sausages, and she goes nuts for these slices, too. They are expensive, but a great high-value treat for training or special occasions. Highly recommended, but keep an eye on the ingredient list when you buy new bags. I can't trust Merrick to keep them the same for long anymore.
They love them

Dogs love them. But I have small dogs so I break them in half.
Ok treats if your dog likes them

I don't usually have an issue with my dog liking pretty much anything I will hand him but these he definitely hesitated on and you can tell he's not all that thrilled when he gets one. Sometimes he will even drop it on the ground and leave it. I use Merrick brand for his food and he LOVES the Merrick Backcountry Big Game Real Lamb & Buffalo Sausage Cuts Grain-Free Dog Treats but these just aren't a favorite. Honestly I'm not a fan either because they are VERY greasy and messy but I guess you have to expect that with duck.

My dog and cat LOVE these treats. Great ingredients, they are the size of about a quarter, three times the thickness . I do break them in half for my dog because she will inhale them, they are soft enough to break into small pieces for my cat. They also LOVE the beef ones. They did not like the lamb and bison they were very dry.
Not Sure What To Think

I'm not sure if they're all like this, but the bag I got seems like it's all burnt. All the pieces are black and smell awful. My dog wouldn't even keep them in his mouth until I tore them open to see how burnt they really were. He seems to taste the meat better after I tear it, but I don't think I'll be continuing to give them to him. Not to mention the mess they leave on my hands. Overall they seem pretty gross, but I'm hoping I just got a bad bag.

We tried them when her long term jerky treat became difficult for her to eat and enjoy do to loss of teeth. She is very picky but Thankfully she loved them. They are just soft enough while still requiring some chewing.
