    Worth Every Cent You Pay!

My three dogs love the Merrick Alpine Rabbit Stew. No more fussy appetites in this house! Has also seems to reduce their scratching that other brands have caused.

    Rabbit Isn't For Everyone

    By on

My Boston Terrier LOVES this stew (she can be the picky one), unfortunately my Shiba Inu and my Chiweenie begrudgingly ate it. It has good size chunks of meat in it along with a few vegetables with a gravy for a good coating. I would definitely recommend it just be aware that it may not be for all dogs tastes.

    Rabbit Stew

Our little Bella was so frustrated at meal time. Her 3 cats all got yummy canned food and she was getting dry food. So, when I found this, the can version of her current dry food, she was very, very happy.

My dogs go bonkers for this food!

    By on

I have a very picky 1 yr old chi-mix and a 9 yr old Shepsky. Both absolutely LOVE the Alpine Rabbit Stew. So much so that I'm afraid to try anything else! I simply take a moment to chop up the big chunks into small morsels for my little dog, then add a little water to make a stew. The chunks are too large for little dogs to chew, but a minute or so of your extra time to chop it up in their bowls makes it totally fine for little ones, too.

    Food Seemed Old

    By on

I have had my fur baby on this food for years. The food I received from chewy seemed old, the normal "stew" look of this food was not there. I trashed it and ordered from someplace else.

    We like rabbit stew!!

    By on

I typically keep four kinds of canned food on the shelf to rotate through for our 3 dogs -- mixed with some high-quality kibble. I've been buying Merrick of late (and Wingaling and Smothered comfort are favorites). This is our first venture with rabbit, and it's accepted well. Lucky our 3 are not picky eaters and have no dietary restrictions. Of course, I realize food rotation is principally to keep the feeders entertained more than the feed-ees.
