I try to find good food.

    By on

My cat was 17 years old before I learned the horrors of what went into most available catfood found in grocery stores. For the last 2 years I have been trying to get him to accept healthier food.Which is something I have not been able to do for my self! Joey's health is precarious now and if he is to survive he needs to eat food rather than just lick the juices. And Joey actually eats this catfood.which is remarkable.I am very pleased that it contains Salmon oil and a good amount of taurine.I am not qualified to make judgement calls on catfood ingrediates but I do try to make well informed decisions.I am pleased that egg whites is one of the proteins(a good source for elderly cats with kidney disease. This My cat was 17 years old before I learned the horrors of what went into most available catfood found in grocery stores. For the last 2 years I have been trying to get him to accept healthier food.Which is something I have not been able to do for my self! Never again...

I wish Chewy sold samples of foods so we could try them out before buying big bulks for too much money. My kitten did not like this food whatsoever. I did give it 2 stars because he had at least tried it before deciding he would never eat it again. Now, I’m hoping my friend’s kitten will eat it so it’s not money wasted.

    A favorite in our house

    By on

My kittens aren't all that finicky, but I've never seen them devour anything the way that they devour these Merrick kitten cuts. Best part, there's been none of the litter box trouble that they've had with some other foods. I'm sticking with this formula from now on. Thanks, Chewy!

    Excellent Kitty Approved

    By on

We purchased for a senior cat which is underweight. Our vet recommended feeding him kitten food. Very surprised because our cat is super picky, that he loves the food.

We have two kittens, one 2 year old and a 10 year old and they ALL love these packets. Finding something they all love is hard but we found a winner.

My kitten is eating so much!

    By on

Our kitten is not a big eater and will usually eat for about 15 seconds and walk away with a lot left on her plate. I put this down for her and watched her eat for several minutes straight. She could not get enough!

My cat goes nuts for this!

    By on

Merrick makes a high quality product line for cats and this is my first foray into it. The ingredients are natural and I assume tasty; it doesn't smell horrible like some other wet food products. My kitty loves it. However, I'm told certain studies now show a completely grain free diet isn't the best for the little furballs. So I supplement with dry food as well.

    Not the best.

My kitten who is always ready to eat wasn't too thrilled about this food. Rarely would she eat it.
