My VERY picky Siamese love the Merrick Backcountry pouches. They are eager to eat them up each morning.

My cat loves this food. We gave her the kitten version and have now switched her over to the adult food. We use the turkey and rabbit flavours and they are both a hit! The ingredients are fantastic and I think my cat really likes the texture.

In the past when I've used morsel food the gravy would get lapped up by both cats but half the chunks would remain uneaten. With this food, the cats eat almost all of it. The sodium is a bit high, unfortunately, so we'll use it in rotation.

Seems like a good formula with all the stuff you would want your cats to eat. 10/10 paws.

My cats don't like it. It sits in the bowl untouched usually food is gone in minutes. After the gravy is gone they are done won't eat the chunks of food.

My kitty got tired of the Backcountry rabbit so now I alternate with this. I was surprised because she's rejected other brands with turkey. Not this one. Very good ingredients without the soy, wheat, etc that our feline friends do not need.

I got the variety pack and the turkey was the one they liked most. Small chunks and lots of gravy. A bit on the expensive side but I have to mix it up with my finicky boys.

I love the pouches but my cat won’t eat the food unless I mince the chunks and mix it with her favorite canned food. I don’t know if it’s the texture, taste or both she doesn’t like. She is missing four teeth so the chunks might be hard for her to chew. I bought a 3 week supply of this and the chicken/fish flavor and thought I’d have to give it away. Mixing it with FancyFeast is working. I won’t buy the Merrick pouches again. I’m disappointed.

Im new to having cats as pets, and it's been quite the adventure thus far. I try to eat as organic and natural as possible, and that goes for my adorable cats as well. Ive tried a few different organic/natural wet foods. My boys seem to like morsels over gravy stew type wet packets. Talk about finicky! I do recommend this brand.
