He likes it but…

My dog always eats Merricks food but I order this flavor for the first time. The first can I opened, a bug was in it.

Stew Style Food?

I prefer giving my dog stew style wet dog food as the pate style gets stuck all over his teeth. Although this says it is stew, it is actually more like very loosely formed pate.

Quality control inconsistent

Too many times I will open a can to find it only half full. Other times the can is mostly liquid with only 1/2 the normal solid portion. I thought this might just be one case. But I have made multiple orders and still get a few vans each time that ate are not full. My dog likes the food. But paying a premium for cans thar are not full of food is frustrating.

Chow Time !!

Shadow the dog really likes Merrick can food. He will jump up and down to get his meal. Shadow just turned 5 this December and has been eating Merrick Dog food dry and wet that long.Good stuff Thanks. Shadow is a Golden Retriever

All 5 rescue dogs of different breeds and ages love this. Food is packed tightly in cans to top so you get your moneys worth.

Good quality.

I am very particular with the dog food I give my beagles because of all of the problems with DCM that is popping up. This is a decent food that I mix in with my dogs raw dehydrated food to make the raw food last longer.

My 3 German Shepherds Approved

All 3 of my German Shepherds like this food. I top their Merrick Backcountry Raw Infused kibble with it. It looks like meat squares, green beans and carrots in gravy.

My dogs loved this food - but it is just so expensive!

I ordered a case of this when it was on sale. My dogs really liked it and I would order it again but it is just too expensive. Hoping it will be on sale again and I will get several cases of it then.
