Using the chart below, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information below as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/2 cup for every 6 oz. of wet food.

    Great Series

    By on

We've had two of the flavors in this series by Merrick now and it's a big hit, even the cats of the house hold try and steal bits. (mostly the freezedry). I don't need to jump "flavors" as often as with most other styles which is nice. Big fan!

I Love Merricks dog food products for “Coley“

    By on

One of the best feature of Merricks all meat products especially the game selection is that I am able control “Coleys” weight. He loves every Morsel!

Dog will eat because he has to (will eat raw bits first)

    By on

I bought this thinking it would be a middle ground, but the kibble is trash and it takes my dog twice as long to eat it than previous brands. There are a good amount of raw bits, but it doesn't matter if the rest is no good.

    Picky Dog Loves It!

    By on

I have an incredibly picky shiba inu who constantly gets tired of his food after 2-3 days. We've tried so many types of foods and he'll always always lose interest and go on hunger strikes. While there will be mornings or nights he won't finish his bowl, he seems to consistently eat this brand more than the others we've tried. When he's not self regulating his food he polishes the bowl clean! I definitely recommend this to anyone with picky dogs. Aafco approved or not, my picky dog loves it and the ingredients are great for him. Don't let some stuck up review about someone who'll probably buy a brand based on reviews vs actual ingredients dissuade you from getting this.

Great food for a affordable price

    By on

My dog has GI issues and lots of allergies to different ingredients so this food has been tremendous. Once I found this food and found out that chewy had it, I was so excited!!

    Merrick not AAFCO Approved!

    By on

I always order Merrick food for my dog so I decided I would try their "new" recipe. I can't tell you how disappointed I was to see that it said "NOT" approved by AAFCO. Will NOT be ordering this again.

    Yes it does.

    By on

The dog food meets Aafco requirements. Merrick is just pointing out that one ingredient does not but who is Aafco? They say Ol' Roy, Purina Dog Chow and Pedigree are good. They know nothing. Merrick is a high quality food.
