High quality, bad for mommy’s pocket
I got this product for free for testing purpose. Merrick Grain-Free Real Bison, Beef + Sweet potato recipe is a high quality dry dog food. My dog (30 pound, young) enjoyed eating it first than her regular food, and did not show any intestinal problem with the transition. However, I just check the price for it on chewy website and we are sticking to our regular. Her regular is also a grain-free dry food, but there are other more affordable high quality dry dog food.
They loved this food
My dogs are t really picky eaters when it comes to their food, but we mixed the Merrick in with theirs to test it out. When I tell you, they only ate the merrick food and left their Rachel Ray dog food in the bowl, it’s no exaggeration. Their coats are shinier, softer and their energy was out of this world! I will be purchasing more for them!!
Gobbled it right up
When the dog food was delivered she was trying to open the bag herself. I put half the new Merrick food in her bowl and half her regular food and she picked out the Merrick pieces first. She was actually excited to eat breakfast this morning and gobbled it up in record time. Love the grain free option.

My 3 dogs loved it and continued to switch’s bowls trying each other’s. They each had a scoop on top of their regular food. The pup reached up to her brother and sisters bowls to try it, so she got a scoop too.
My picky eaters love it!
So far no complaints about this food. I have a husky who's approximately 11 yrs old and a 1 yr old mix who are very picky eater. But they have been chowing this down with not problems. Their coats look and feel amazing! Super happy I tried and switched to this brand!
This food is great!
My dog really enjoys this dog food. I like that it's grain free, and has real protein from animal sources as it's first ingredient. It says that it helps with hips & joints, which is definitely something I worry about with a dog that is getting older. 10/10 recommend!
Not a good choice for my dog
I received this as a promotion to try & review. My dog did not like the taste of this food. I opened it soon as I got it & gave him some. He spit it out & turned his nose up at it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend

I have a German Shepard and she could not get enough of this dog food she kept going to the bag. She definitely approved!

My dog is already very old and small, he cant chew certain foods but Merrick is perfect because it comes in small pieces.
