coming up a little short
I’ve been buying this for months and have loved it. My dogs have been happy with it too! However the last few orders have been coming up a little short. No fault of Chewy, its Merrick’s issue. They’re shorting the cans! Now they’re missing almost 1/4 of the can. At this price, it’s disappointing. Im looking for other wet foods. Im not disappointed with the quality by any means, just feel like this company is raising prices and shorting their consumers.
Needed non-Chicken canned
So far this brand, which contains no chicken, is working out well. Our pugs love it. The young pug has allergies and seems to be improving with non-Chicken products. The only drawback for my pugs is that each hunk of meat is quite large, for a small breed. So we have to cut them in half for each feeding (with a Ltd ingredient dry food).
Can is mostly liquid... ripoff
We have used Merrick products for years and still find most of them to be a good value and the dogs love them... except for this one. Not only does the can contain mostly liquid none of the dogs (4) will touch the food. These are big GSD's that would eat a car license plate but they refuse this food. As I learned decades ago while training working dogs... always trust your dog. They wanted me to give zero stars but I told them it was not possible. I will return the remaining 9 cans.
Finally back!
So glad this is available again. First 3 ingredients are meat. Seems to have more gravy than previously, but my dogs love it over their dry dog food. That's what matters!
Good For fussy GS
I use this as a topper. My fussy GS will eat this whenever I use, and that gets her to eat other food underneath
fresh and resealable bag
My dogs go crazy for these treats they come in a resealable bag and they smell fresh when you open the bag . These work great for my dog who has food allergies .
I won't eat it. Period.
I should preface this by telling you that I am a very discerning eater. (My owners call me picky) With that said I can tell you this blend is the worst excuse for food I've ever had plopped into my bowl. I tried two or three bites the first time and really hated it. Now, I won't even give it a sniff. When my owners put a bowl of this food down I get up and walk out of the room. Hopefully they'll take the hint because I would rather go hungry than try to eat this food. Woof.
Loving Chewy
My girl Elsa is 14 3/4 and I have been trying many different types of chunky canned food for her she has not been feel the best these days and we are keeping her very comfortable. CHEWY has been so understanding with their refund policies I can’t say enough to thank them for being so understanding. I truly thank everyone from customer service to the FedX men whom deliver the food to my door. Your service is unconditionally the Best.. Thank You Chewy family I will be a fan for life.
Boys like, I don't!
My two boys like the this product; however, I do not. The amount of gravy to solids, and meat to what I believe are potatoes is off putting. Please do send a refund. As stated, the boys enjoy the product, and the case will be consumed.
Dogs like this
Our dogs really do seem to like this food - it has a little more gravy and a little less meat than it should for how expensive it is, but so far my dogs are doing pretty good eating this.
