If dogs could have popcorn, Merrick Lamb Training Treats would be it. These bite size cubes are great for all sizes and ages of dogs. Their softer texture makes it easier for dogs both young and old to dine on this one of a kind delicacy. Lamb lung is the sole ingredient for this product which is a natural source that is high in protein. This treat is packaged in a resealable bag to help keep these treats fresh.

These treats seem a bit hard for training reasons. I like my dog to get her tasty reward then move on quickly back to training. They're about an inch square and hard. My dog is a medium sized dog and weighs about 30 lbs so they might be a little big for her. I still give them to her as a treat but not during training.
My favorite treats!

These are my favorite dog treats because they do not cause digestive upset, they are single ingredient so don’t cause allergies, perfect for any dog! Also they are getting harder to find in retail stores. Fast shipping!
My Great Dane loves these

She starts drooling puddles when I get the bag out. They are crunchy and just the right size for training a large dog. They are different than any other treats I've found and they work great.
Love the Lamb!

This is the perfect training treat. It's dry, so no mess. It is also almost odorless to me, but not to the dog. Even my rambunctious puppy pays attention when I have lamb lung in my hand. I cut the pieces into smaller bits so I can work on training for quite a while with only a small piece.. Lamb lung is high quality protein that is good for the dog too. One caveat...if I put the bits in my pocket while training, my dog can smell it long after the training session. One torn pocket later, I've learned to change my clothes after training.
Great training treat

Both of our dogs love these and they make good training treats. Only downside is that some of the bigger chunks are hard to break down to bite sized pieces.
Dog didn't like them, but maybe your dog will...

There are not many items that my dog won't eat but these have made that list. I was shocked because he loves all other organ type treats but these he just spit out. But that doesn't mean other dogs won't love them. I will say these are not good training treats. Even if your dog does eat them, they are not good for most training sessions. I wanted to get a high reward treat to get him to go in his crate when we go out and to also be a distraction if he got too interested in the cat. So for me a treat that was about 1/2 to 1 inch square that is hard and would require him to spend a few minutes to soften and chew was perfect. Too bad he didn't care for these because otherwise they would haveThere are not many items that my dog won't eat but these have made that list. I have two Gordon Setters who are members of a neighborhood pack of 12. Every single dog, large and small, LOVES these treats. They are easily broken into bite-size portions, although the pups would prefer the big chunks. Even the fussiest dog will gobble these up! My friend calls them "doggie cocaine". This year I bought the small bags to give as gifts and everyone was thrilled to receive them. Can't recommend them more highly!!!
GREAT TRAINING TREATS!!!

I have one bulldog and two Alabai dogs, which from time to time they become a lot to handle. My Bulldog and the female Alabai are obedient so their training becomes easy. Now the male Alabai is one stubborn dog (>-<), but with this treats I can make him do mostly everything I need him to do (sit, no, shake, inside, wait, stop, let's go). All those demands but in his Language, Armenian.
So happy with these treats my dogs love them. I order them every 2-3 weeks when I order their food. BIG DOGS 90-130lb

My puppy loves the flavor and because of them small size we do not feel bad when we give him several while learning tricks!! The treat itself is dried out and takes him a little while to chew, but that makes him feel like it's a bigger reward. He is eager to learn more for these treats, and my favorite part, the tricks stick with him, we can do them without the treat in hand, meaning he remembers what to do on what command for a reward. The first set of training treats we bought, he would spit out. He loves these!

My dogs have always loved the Lambies , I do wish they made them smaller like they used to . My Mia goes crazy over these i do have to cut them in half, which is a bit of a hassle, But my little girl would eat the whole bag if i let her .We can't even use the word lamb in a conversation she is right there looking up at us ,Too funny! The only treat she gets that doesn't give her a reaction she has colitis. So we have to be so careful with her food and treats ....................
