Feed an Adult dog 3 - 4 bowls (3.5 oz) per 10 lbs of body weight daily.
Adjust feeding level to your dog's individual needs. Serve at room temperature. Cover and refrigerate unused portions. Keep fresh water available at all times.
Mix Merrick's food with your current pet's food over the course of 5-7 days. Continuously increase the amount of the Merrick food while decreasing the amount in your dog or cat's current diet.
I love all the lil plates. My 4 pups love them too! Makes it so easy to feed with just enough for them without having to store any leftovers in frig.
My very finicky Shih Tzu wolfed this down. She cleaned her plate
I used to feed my pug just kibble, then I started home-making all his food. But when that got to be too much work/time, and I tried to switch back to just kibble, he wasn't having it. This Merrick Lil' Plates stew (and the other flavors) are a game-changer. He loves it (and eats all the kibble mixed in too). I split one of these per day over his Merrick kibble (morning and night) so it doesn't get too expensive. You can see the real food (peas, meat, etc.) in it which is awesome!
Zoe loves this! She refuses to eat anything else. My problem with soft food has always been the smell. This does not have a strong smell at all. It’s a win win for us both!
Out of a package of 12, One container was 1/2 full of feces, and a second container was suspicious. I will continue to buy the Lil plates, bu not this beef stew.
Enjoys the cookies. Smells good, too. I’ll buy again
the lil plates in the variety packs are her favorite
I feed both my dogs this. 1 is 11yrs old and wouldn’t eat the food that she had all her life, but she looks forward to dinner time with this food and she’s more active! 1 is 9 months old and she loves this food!
My Senior Shih Tzu really does like this food he eats twice a day and is always ready to enjoy this dog food. Sometimes I top it with a few of his BilJac chicken liver soft treats which he is always up for. He has enjoyed all the varieties too.
I love Merrick brand, so I thought I would try the Lil Plates for my fussy chihuahua. He loved the flavor and the morsels are the prefect size. However it caused major diarrhea and I am unsure why. I switched back to the larger can of Merrick and it was fine. I then gave it to my other small dog who has an iron stomach, same thing happened. Not sure why? They both enjoy beef flavor wet food.
