    SUCCESS AT LAST

    Have 3 pound 10 week puppy who would not eat. I tried 6 or more brands of wet food for her starting with Wellness. I finally found Little Puppy Plates. She is eating it and finally gaining weight. WHEW!! I give her complete can in the morning for breakfast. For lunch she gets the leftover breakfast Have 3 pound 10 week puppy who would not eat. I give her complete can in the morning for breakfast. For lunch she gets the leftover breakfast food mixed with kibble. For dinner I start with 1/2 can of Little plates & 1/4 cup of kibble in separate plate. I have never had a finicky dog before and was really stymied. The Chewy.com rep was amazing. she tirelessly recommended different food to try until we got the right thing. I am most grateful for her help, which was upwards of an hour. My vet was totally unhelpful (and that is an overstatement). Thank you so much Chewy rep! … more

    OK Puppy Food But No More Merrick

    It seems to me like Merrick's quality has dipped a lot in recent years. Though the quality of the Merrick Lil' Plates seems better than the Merrick canned food now, at least to my eye, it still does not look as nice as some of the higher quality (and higher priced) food I prefer for my dogs. My puppy also did not like it much. She ate some of it the first time, but after that, she preferred her other foods. This is an acceptable puppy food, but I personally have not and will not be ordering any more Merrick products. … more
