our Frenchies love it!

We raise French Bulldogs and I have tried many different foods and I always come back to Merrick! We use the lamb kibble with these added in for dinner we do half a can per dog and they love it. Using Merrick our dogs shine from the inside out.

She loves it

I tried many, many different brands of wet food for my 14 year old (adopted a year ago). She has irritable bowel syndrome and other foods did not help her. THIS food has! She now has normal poos and feels so much better, she has pep in her and eats every bite! I am so happy that I finally found something she likes, and that has helped her medical issue.

Different than larger canned food

My picky husky LOVES the Thanksgiving Day Dinner 12oz cans so I bought him the 3oz version because its easier for storage. However, he refuses to eat these lil plates. It even looks different (looks blan) in comparison to the larger canned food. What a bummer.

Great food!

I feed Katie this and all the other flavors of Lil Plates. She loves them and her sensitive stomach is much better than with any other food.

Give These A Try

I’m now caring for a 13 year old toy poodle who’s not enjoying her food anymore at all, dry food that I usually mix with a teaspoon of water 1/4 cup morning and evening. Just not showing interest in eating except treats of course, past couple weeks. I tried mixing in peanut butter which worked just once. If I mix people food in she eats absolutely with no problem at all but even that depends what it is I mix in like seems to need to be pretty gourmet lately. I ordered these after reading through the reviews and to my surprise they arrived super fast in less than 48hrs and I figure I’ll get away with mix in of these which she absolutely loved and scarfed her food down instantly. Switching to just these would be wonderful in her very old picky age but so expensive, really they are. I’m thinking if she actually loves these that a spoon mixed in per feeding with her dry food and should be a container used every 3 meals so about a tablespoon worth mixed in each meal is about how small these containers are. One container should last 3 feedings stored in the refrigerator once opened. I highly recommend as a mix in if you’re dealing with a picky small dog or feel free to use as a complete meal if your budget allows. So far it’s working for us.

Happy Chihuahua

I have a rescue chihuahua that is almost 16 years old. She seems to be tired of the food she's been eating for the past 7 years. I bought these and she loves it. She has always been a very picky eater, but I have no trouble getting her to eat this.

Didn't work as substitute

My dog has IBD. He eats a small amount of the Chicken Pot Pie version of Lil' Plates every day, but it has been unavailable everywhere I have searched. I tried this as a substitute and he got very sick.

Good ingredients, nice portion, easy on their stomach

My 7 y/o cocker spaniel has been having gut issues linked to gum disease and while the bad teeth have been removed and she's recovering from that, her stomach is still getting back in balance and she has less than half of her teeth left so her old food was no longer an option. A friend recommended to try this so I alternated one tray every few days and not only does she gobble it down, she keeps it down with no issue, and it doesn't make her stool too soft or give her monster gas as other similar types of food from different brands have been doing (the beef stew one from Blue Buffalo was THE WORST). The vet said once her gums heal and her gut health is balanced we'll be able to mix a bit of kibble with it so she's getting all the daily nutrients she needs but for now 2 of these a day has been helping great!

Great Food by Great Company

Have used for 4 plus years. We use Merrick, the dry and wet versions, together. Lucy enjoys every bite. Consistent quality and Lucy stays happy and at a healthy weight. Dog dinners that actually smell like home cooking.

Not so thankful

Maestro is a finicky eater and so it hard to get him to eat dog food. I give up.
