  • Switched from BB, huge improvement

    By on Top 250 Contributor

My pup has sensitive stomach and can only eat duck or lamb for the most part. I've always suspected seasonal allergies due to his itching and light dander and skin issues. I've been feeding BB basics until they have had a hard time producing the lamb formula according to them, and forcing me to find another food. So I tried this and I've just finished a medium size bag and his skin and coat look so much better. With the weather changing now, there's no pollen to react to so seasonal allergies can be ruled out. The switching of food was easy and he loves it. Hopefully he continues to improve I'm happy with this food so far.

  • Great food for a Maltese

    By on

My groomer suggested Merrick Limited Ingredient because my white Maltese was chewing his paws all day. So bad his skin was irritated and turning orange/brown. His eyes were always tearing badly so we tried this and he is doing extremely well now. Now he does still chew on his paws but not near enough like he was and his skin and coat is no longer changing colors. His tear duck don't produce that horrible drainage like it use to. He still has grass allergies and just needs a bath about twice a month to control it. Over all very pleased I have sometimes thought of changing to a different brand limited ingredient for cost reasons, then I remind myself that he's worth it and his skin is much better My groomer suggested Merrick Limited Ingredient because my white Maltese was chewing his paws all day. • Dogs LOVE feeding time

    By on

I have been looking for a foos that both my Cocker Spaniel and Sheltie Corgi mix both enjoy. We have gone through countless brands and formulas. It seemed my Sheltie Corgi mix would do ok but ended up with some scratching and ear infection. I read many review and decide to give is a chance. Totally different dog. Both of my dogs have become more active and enjoy eating at meal time. They look forward to eating and play with me more. It has not been a week yet and I see a difference in them. I hope this is our forever food. But so far I love the results we have.

  • The dog likes it, and does well on it.

    By on

I mix dry food with homemade for my 10 year old dog who has had some health issues recently. She's never been picky about food but she seems to get more excited about this dry food than she does the homemade stuff. When I moved recently I was disappointed to find out our new local pet store does not carry Merrick. Luckily I can order it on Chewy, which I've normally used just for my cat food (which is easier to make exact calculations about).

  • The foods makes my pups happy!

    By on

So far my two pups (13 and 2) seem to like this food. They are interested in this food even when I don't use wet food. Whereas before with other foods they would protest eating it without wet food. My pups don't have allergies to the lamb and sweet potatoes either. On a side note the resealable bag is a nice touch.

  • AMAZING! Best switch I Ever made for my dogs!

    By on

I used to feed BlueBuffalo Limited Ingredient and noticed my dogs were still having allergic reactions and when i talked to the rep i know at my local petstore he advised me this product is more true to its word, and honestly speaking he was correct! My dogs have never loved eating more than they do now, and no allergies! I would advise everyone who has a dog to give this brand a try and you will have no complaints!

  • Healthy and Happy

    By on

The mid-florida sheltie rescue group recommended a grain free diet when we adopted two rescue shelties three years ago. They suggested we try grain free Merrick and we did. Our dogs are both healthy and happy on this food and we wish we had discovered grain free Merrick years ago to help keep previous shelties as healthy. They both eat their kibble with gusto and seem to love all the different recipes.

  • GREAT DOG FOOD

    By on

Bought this Dog food because the Acana Dog food was not carried by Chewy anymore. We read all reviews and looked at ingredients and were very pleased. Received the food and our dog went nuts over it, just loved it, small kibble which is great for her, she is 11 years old. This is worth trying a great food .

  • Adding a new food

    By on

I ordered this to supplement our dog's everyday food. It's only been a week, but so far, so good. The short time we've used this food is the only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5. The bag seals well enabling us to keep it next to the bin that holds the second food.

  • Excellent Dry Food

    By on

We have an 11 year old dog with wheat and corn sensitivity. We have tried several dry foods, although some of them worked fine for a while, none but Merrick Limited has proven to be consistently good for her. It is expensive but her good health is worth every penny.
