    Picky eater

By Pickyeater on Apr 20, 2021

My foster baby is a very picky eater, and when she wouldn't eat the flavor I had, but just ordered more I called Chewy to see if I could exchange it. They said they don't do exchanges but sent me another flavor, and suggested I donate what I ordered. I paid for the new food, but got a refund on the other.they are so great.

    Well made product

By GarfieldMom on Apr 15, 2021

It’s very expensive, but if you really need a poultry free food, this is good. My cat loved it at first, but by the third day, he stopped eating it. Unfortunately, it’s the only flavor they make. Chewy’s customer service agent Diego researched for me and helped me find this poultry free food. He, as all Chewy’s reps, is wonderful.

    A great choice

By Didi on Apr 21, 2021

Like other reviewers said, it has a strong scent, but clearly that's because the main ingredient is tuna... my cats love this and the Limited Ingredients is great for one who has a sensitive stomach. Will definitely be buying again :)

    Not to bad

By Allergygirls on Mar 15, 2021

My three Mainecoons share one can between them, so they dont love it enough to eat a whole can, but they'll eat it. They will return to pick at it little by little. Very fussy and I've tried a variety of can brands. Merrick is the only ones I've found they'll pick at. Chicken was not popular with my girls.

    It’s a hit

    By Cupcake on Jan 29, 2020 top1000Contributor

Both my cats are very fussy. They don’t like chunky cat foods, so this is perfect.

Canned Tuna for humans is cheaper and more palatable to my cat

By EzraWuzntHere on Jun 10, 2019

I have been having really bad luck with Merrick LID lately. My cat has mostly preferred the chicken recipe, but I have cycled through the duck and salmon for variety and he was not really a fan of those. When the chicken was out of stock recently I bought a whole case of this tuna, which was a big mistake. My cat practically refused to eat it. I jazzed it up with freeze dried chicken treats and other things but he basically went on a hunger strike. I tried to give the rest of the case away to my neighbor and her cats wouldn't eat it either. Before I could get to the local store for an alternative, I offered my regular canned tuna (for humans) for the first time. He loved that, and it was I have been having really bad luck with Merrick LID lately. Three finicky cats

By Daisy on Aug 11, 2019

All three of my kitties like the chicken, turkey or salmon flavors, but, will not touch the tuna or the duck. They usually like tuna cat food, but, will not touch any brand of duck.

My cat comes running with the pop of the lid

By miiaso on Jul 11, 2019

I'm not sure why other reviewers' cats don't like this, but mine loves it. She literally comes running when she hears the lid pop open. She has loved every flavor I've tried of Merrick's LID.

    Worst cat food ever

By Katie on May 28, 2019

The smell is horrible. My cat, that literally eats anything, threw up after taking a few bites. The date on the can shows it’s still within expiration date but something is definitely wrong with this cat food.
