Our felines inside and feral friends outside love Merrick brand dry food - high quality ingredients, appropriately priced, and easy peasy with Chewy's super fast delivery. The bowls are empty everyday and we some picky eaters - this is a win for everyone in our 6 cat family.

Formula has changed, and no more 7lb bag

My two cats have been eating this dry food happily for several years. I would have rated it 5 stars. I had the 7lb bag on Chewy autoship, but then in October the 7lb bag was no longer available. So I bought the 12lb bag, but the kibble doesn't look the same, I noticed it's a lighter color and slightly larger kibble size. The real problem is that both my cats refused to eat it, one of them even tried to "bury" it. I don't blame Chewy, but please Chewy, report this to Merrick. Why would Merrick change a good cat food? And why do away with the 7lb bag size? That size fit perfectly on my pantry shelf - 12 lbs is too big, let alone the decision to change the formula. Very reliable

I would like to thank Chewy for filling my order. I have been using Chewy for my cat filters, both water and litter box for a long time. I needed Merrick limited ingredient diet cat food for my cat. All stores near me were out of this brand. Chewy was the only place I could find this brand. Thank you chewy for helping me to keep my cat Griz happy.

My cats used to devour this food but now neither of them will touch it. As other's have mentioned it used to be for all life stages but now it's just for adults. Will be donating to a local shelter

Our previous cat loved this food, and the one we have now does too. We like the fact it has good ingredients, and the cats enjoy the taste as you can tell from how readily both have eaten it. This one is a keeper.

No cats will touch this dry food. My cats preferred to starve rather than eat this. I put it out for the ferals and even they wouldn’t touch it. Finally raccoons came and left it as well. Don’t buy this. So overpriced as well.

I Like to Eat This

Mama had to switch food on us due to a recall. I had eaten only that other food since my whole life so it was difficult to do. The first bowl, we ate this new stuff like it was going out of style. Keep in mind we hadn't had dry food in a few days. The bowl sat empty on the floor as if taunting us. Since the first couple days, we've slowed down. Mama likes that this brand is so healthy and she might stick with it. I guess that would be ok. Wink Wink, more than ok! P.S. No grain means no getting fat for me!
