Finally!! We found the right food

We have a 2.5 yr old EB and up until now, every food we tried she had allergic reactions. Hair loss, hot spots, yeast infections, worse breathing problems, gagging, congestion. She was started on the expensive Royal Canin which gave her very loose stools and had become harder to find in the Adult version. She didn't like it either. We have gone through every kind of meat/grain/grain free form of kibble and finally got this Real Lamb Sweet Potato and all allergy reactions have ceased. We are hopeful this continues because she actually likes this brand too, which has been a huge issue with all the other kinds. Hopefully this will be the one and only longer term use will tell.

Excellent product

My senior lab was really struggling with allergies here in FL. I found it difficult to find food that doesn't contain chicken in some shape or form. Within just a very few short days she has stopped chewing her feet and legs. I am so glad I found this relief for her and she loves it!!

Great Food for my dog

It's a wonderful dog food for my Poodle on a limited diet. (It smells like chocolate when I open the bag each day!) However, the medium size bag is never available. Since I have one dog, the large bag is too much; the small not enough to last so I've had to buy 2 small bags. Last time, Chewy only stocked the large size.Sadly, as much as I like Chewy, I'll have to look at other sites to get this food in moderate amounts. Otherwise Chewy is a superb site for my pup's needs.

My Jack Russell LOVES it!! Seems to be agreeing with her more than the Nutro I'd been giving her...which she finally refused to eat. I think the quality and the taste are most important.

The Girls Really Like It

Due to the shortage of their regular food I had to purchase something to tie us over. I was concerned the switch might cause stomach upset and the fussy dachshunds would not eat it. Not only did they not show any signs of gastric upset, they loved it!

Huge Bag, good food

My little 5 lb Chi loves this food...but wish it came in a 5 pound bag (which lasts her a month!). This bag I had to separate into bags and use a foodsaver on them. She will have food for quite some time.

Quality ingredients

I received Merrick’s limited ingredient diet grain free dog food for testing purposes. I prefer to feed my dogs LID, grain free foods so I was excited to try the Merrick brand. My two Yorkies loved the flavor! I could tell because one usually lingers over her food but this was eaten right up. The pieces were small enough that they could chew easily. I was also impressed with the list of wholesome ingredients. I liked this product so much I purchased a big bag of Merrick Lil Plates grain free for small breed dogs.
