Price hike ridiculous

My cats have eaten both this, and the Merrick Limited Ingredient chicken flavors, and love both. For some reason, this has gone up in price almost double. This isn't the first time, but here we go again! It's getting too expensive to use. I wish someone would explain the reason behind the price hike of about 45%. I give it 4 stars mainly due to price fluctuation.

Cat hates this food

Chewey did not have the usual brand of duck with sweet potatoes so that was not in her shipment. Plus the latest shipment had several dented and leaky cans. A very nice customer rep found this item but the cat refuses to eat it.

Something changed

My three cats used to love this food but in the recent order I received the recipe seems to have changed--it seems drier somehow. Adding water doesn't do the trick. I will stick with the other Merrick Limited Ingredient flavors, but this is my last order of the duck.

Great food

I think this merrick duck recipe is naturally higher in fat (ducks from france afterall) than other meat options. At my first glance, it seemed to be too dry and too solid. It was hard to get out of the can and too thick!... i decided to try slightly warming each can in hot tap water, and now it falls out of the can to reveal what i think is very high quality food!! It looks like ground meat without being watery/soupy/gummy.. My cats love it, and I'm convinced this is top tier food! I'm going to continue feeding it, as long as my furballs don't start getting fat!

Nearly Empty Cans

These cans are not even half full. The entire case was like this. Literally 3 tablespoons of food per can, if that. This is terrible and ongoing. You're ripping us off.

Some good, some very dry

My cat likes this brand and flavor but about half of the cans were all dried out when opened. Waste of money.

Some Issues

My cat really liked this food but I won't order it again. The flimsy cans were dented and the lids were hard to remove. Pop tabs sometimes broke off, leaving can unopenable. Food was described as pate but actual consistency was loose and watery.

Great Ducky Food

My two boys love this ducky food! I have to hide medicine in food every day and this is the only one that camouflages it! I highly recommend.

Price hike

This was $39 in September! Now it's $57? Really? I won't be able to purchase from you if this keeps happening. Not sure if they hiked it before Black Friday with a discount coupon so it looks like a deal?

Inconsistent

I feel good about the quality of the food, but it is different every other time we order it. The cats love it when it is chunkier, but can't stand it when it is more of a puree.
