    my allergic cat LOVES this duck ingredient food and no adverse reaction!!

    I recently rescued a nervous little guy and it was soon apparent that he couldn't tolerate a lot of food or he would get the trots and the smell could peel paint off the wall. I read online about allergies and have him on a rabbit and also a lamb based cat food i get from Chewy. I wanted to give him one more choice and this worked out great; no added chicken or fish which i have to watch. i am happy also as this food is a reasonable price and it doesn't smell. Cats who are not allergic would probably enjoy a little duck dinner now and then!! … more

    My cats have been eating the Merrick LID food for a while now, both the chicken & turkey formulas. I thought I would give the duck flavor a try, but the quality was not good. It's more like play-dough than cat food. It's very sticky. My cats do eat it, but reluctantly, and the way they chew it reminds me of a human with a mouth full of peanut butter. I'm not sure I'll even have them finish off the case, and definitely will not be purchasing this flavor again. … more
