    Good for my IBD cat

    My 15 year old cat has had IBD for almost three years. We have been feeding her Hills DD for most of that time on our previous vet's advice. I was unable to get DD wet food in 2020-it was out of stock everywhere. She was down to five pounds so I REALLY did not want to change her food but had no choice. I bought this kind and another kind of limited ingredient duck food. She preferred this one. I was shocked that she also started gaining weight and is much more lively after the switch! I can't promise you will have the same results but I wanted to share. … more

    Inconsistent Quality

    I chose this food a while ago because it is fish-free and carrageenan free. It seemed to be working well for my cat. However, as other reviewers have noted, the quality/formula is inconsistent between batches. The recent batch I ordered had a weird sticky consistency and after trying several cans, my I chose this food a while ago because it is fish-free and carrageenan free. It seemed to be working well for my cat. However, as other reviewers have noted, the quality/formula is inconsistent between batches. The recent batch I ordered had a weird sticky consistency and after trying several cans, my cat just leaves most of his food untouched (as opposed to previous batches where he usually ate all or most of it). Unfortunately, I am now on the search yet again for a reasonably priced fish-free wet food. … more
