Unable to get old brand- company seems to be going through post Covid changes. Looking for chicken potato. Smells good but she passed on this. Just like people - she likes potato, sweet potato, not so much!

Our 3 kitties seem to love this food. They gobbled down quickly the first time we gave it to them. It however has a lot of powdered food that we sift out, otherwise it builds up in the little cup we use to fill their bowls. We mixed it with the American Journey Chicken dry food.

Had to switch foods when all 23 cats were throwing up 2 batches of same food shipped to me by Chewy. This seemed to help all the tummies.

both of my cats can't stand this and i believe it's because they don't like the taste of sweet potatoes/yams

I just opened the bag of Merrick Perfect Bistro dry cat food and it appears to have been crushed in shipment.

It's great quality and I was hoping my cats would be chomping this down w no issues. They didn't go for it like I wanted them to do. I fed the feral cat colonies with it.

And it is good for them Leave out for their daily munchies!

The bag I just bought not only smelled like dried garbage but it was ground up into practically dust. My cats have enjoyed this new food the last three months but refused to touch whatever was sent this recent purchase. Also going to highlight that my cats never throw up and the last couple of days after trying to feed them this I’ve come home from 15 hour work days with bowls barely touched and vomit on the floor. Sad to say I won’t be buying again.

I switched to this flavor after Merrick discontinued the Limited Ingredient Chicken and oh boy do I wish I didn't. I have 1 cat that must be allergic to potatoes (and there is 3 different potato ingredients in this one) because he started peeing all over the house. 2 others have gained weight with this and one of those had a major flare up of his hyperesthesia. One cat lost weight, but that is because he stopped eating dry food. Totally switching to a new dry food because potato protein is an ingredient in all of the Merricks flavors. I miss their grain free potato free flavor..

Our cat was a rescue and once starved and she refused to eat this food. It doesn't smell like cat food, rather like wet cardboard so I can't imagine this being appetizing for her either...
