  • Waste of money

    By on

Bought this item that was touted as "the tank" for large breed dogs thinking it would be ideal for my 76 pound lab chow mix. What a joke. This tank of a bone is not much bigger than my husbands palm. Totally not worth the money spent and I am sure to return it would cost even more money. I can buy a much larger (about 6 times the size for the same amount of money) at my local food lion grocery store. DO NOT WASTE your money on this folks, if you receive the same size "tank" bone as I did you will be disappointed.

  • Not for us

My Newfie puppy is 4 months old and not a big chewer by any means! With that being said, I still had to monitor him closely as he was able to break the bone. You can probably also assume that the smell is terrible. SO potent!! I think if you had a small/medium dog this would be a great but for the bigger pooches I wouldn't bother, plus its quite expensive.. Raw beef soup bones at my grocery store are about $1 and have no chance of my puppy breaking them.

  • Hefty price increase

but then again, it is a hefty bone. I bought them all the time when they were $3 something. I'm not so sure I'll spring for $9 though. If you have heavy chewers, they'll love this. What I'm assuming is a knee cap comes off and it turns into two pieces for the dog to work on. The cap is like a large muffin top. Over all, great product. Greasy but not smelly.

  • Loved the bone

My dogs loved the bone. I can see it removes tartar. I love chewy. I am so sorry to hear the company is selling out to the competition. They will do away with your AWESOME service and great products and prices. VERY SAD. I will stop buying when it sells.

  • too expensive for the product received

I have been buying knuckle bones from Publix. they run about $4-$5s. I thought this bone looked much larger but infact was lighter in weight and didn't last Sadie but a couple of days. Sadie is a neighbors dog that I take treats to.

  • A hunk of The Tank!

    By on

When I ordered The Tank I was unaware of how big this bone actually was. Upon opening it, I had to place the bone in my dogs eating dish, since she was unable to lift it at the time. Since my baby is part pit, lab and terrier, She had this huge bone broken in half and enjoying it to the max. I would recommend this item for a large breed dog, and that it be eaten outdoors. That being said, my dog LOVED IT.

This is the ONLY brand that gets eaten completely. The others are left after a couple days.

  • Huge Bone!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a Westie. Not sure if she will be able to handle this tremendous bone. Had no idea of the size. Looks nice and juicy and even if she can't carry it, she can drag it around! Her eyes will pop out of her head when she sees it. Fun gift.
