Give your pup a professional blow dry with the MetroVac Air Force Commander Pet Dryer, Variable-Speed Control. It’s designed to cut drying time by as much as two-thirds—which is great news for dogs who would much rather be chasing a ball or lounging in a patch of sun. The compact and lightweight design is ideal for home use, and the variety of speed options allows you to adjust for your dog’s coat length and noise sensitivity level. It’s powerful enough for even large breeds, and it won’t damage their lustrous coats!
Pet hair dryer combines the power of a commercial dryer with the compact design of a portable machine.
Variable speed control allows you to adjust for long and short coats, as well as noise sensitivity.
Easy-to-handle design comes with an air concentrator, air flare tool and a groomer rake for professional results. Features an easy-change filter and dual-mounted legs so it can be used vertically or horizontally.
5-year limited warranty on all “full size” MetroVac dryers, the dryer unit and motor (excluding carbon brushes/carbon brush wear.) 1-year limited warranty on parts, switches, cords, etc. Other restrictions apply.
After six uses, the vacuum keeps cutting off and then I have to wait a day to restart. There is no debris at the base and ventilation is good. Researching who to contact about getting serviced or replaced!

Very happy to get blower prior to Christmas for a friend. I have one & really helps blow off a lot of dirt/dust off pet when grooming. Service from Chewy was wonderful, great service & staff.
Broke in 3 minutes

I finally used this for the first time on my golden retriever, and it stopped working after 3 minutes. I tried plugging it in different places thinking it was my power, but it wouldn't turn on anywhere else. I waited a few minutes and it turned on and lasted 30 seconds, and never turned on again. This is too expensive to be breaking after 3 minutes of use.
Powerful, but not for us

I knew it wasn’t a hot air dryer, but without any heat it’s so cold! This is summer and my little babies were shivering. They hate it. I wish I got the one with heat instead.
Also, without heat it fluffs their fur, but they were still wet. Towel works better imho.
It is powerful. Kind of like using a leaf blower on the dog.
does well but no heat

The dryer works well but since there is no heat function on it it takes a very long time to dry and sometimes it just wont dry at all. But its good for the money spent on it and ill continue to use it. Works awesome for blowing out the undercoat though ill give it that!

This dryer is a miracle for my Australian Shepherd that loves to swim every day in Lake Superior!! It blows her dry and gets all the sand out in no time. Great purchase, highly recommend!

This dryer did exactly what I expected it to do, dry our Pembroke Welsh Corgi in preparation for the conformation ring. It is also portable and carries easily in a backpack.
Worth every penny

Getting a new Golden, I knew I had to re-evaluate my dog drying routine. I now realize I should have purchased one of these a decade ago. It is absolutely fantastic, and use it in the garage every morning or afternoon that we come in from a very wet walk. Luke-warm air at a high velocity gets the job done that is nearly impossible in other ways.
I wish now that I would of bought one of these tewlve years ago.

Dries with air not heat, and dramatically cuts down on bath time.if you have Coated Dogs this is a must have. A ....ava lot better than using a hand held hair dryer designed for human hair. I previously thought that one of these dryers were to expensive, but the time saved changed my mind
Buying a 2nd one, after over 20 years!

We're a 24-year-old sanctuary, and our first Air Force Commander finally bit the dust this past week, after over 20 years! It's powerful- and for that reason is extremely loud. It's not just the noise that scares some dogs, though; it's the force of the air coming out of the hose. We haven't been able to use it on many younger dogs, but the older, hard-of-hearing (or really laid back) dogs seem to enjoy it, especially if it's used in a circular motion, like a "massage". The air heats up after a few minutes, but it's from the friction of the motor, not from a heater, so it never gets too hot. The one we bought years ago came with a cage attachment but wasn't recommended as a cage dryer becauseWe're a 24-year-old sanctuary, and our first Air Force Commander finally bit the dust this past week, after over 20 years! The one we bought years ago came with a cage attachment but wasn't recommended as a cage dryer because the longer-use time would wear out the brushes in the motor, so we always used it as a hand-held. We also took advantage of the powerful force of air and blew dust out of equipment, etc! Just be prepared for everything flying all around you. Great product!… more
