Powerful, but not for us
By Jennifer on Sep 18, 2019
I knew it wasn’t a hot air dryer, but without any heat it’s so cold! This is summer and my little babies were shivering. They hate it. I wish I got the one with heat instead. Also, without heat it fluffs their fur, but they were still wet. Towel works better imho. It is powerful. Kind of like using a leaf blower on the dog.

does well but no heat
By halez1224 on Sep 30, 2019
The dryer works well but since there is no heat function on it it takes a very long time to dry and sometimes it just wont dry at all. But its good for the money spent on it and ill continue to use it. Works awesome for blowing out the undercoat though ill give it that!

Compact design
By DogMomma on Aug 7, 2019
This dryer did exactly what I expected it to do, dry our Pembroke Welsh Corgi in preparation for the conformation ring. It is also portable and carries easily in a backpack.

Worth every penny
By PGK1 on Apr 22, 2019
Getting a new Golden, I knew I had to re-evaluate my dog drying routine. I now realize I should have purchased one of these a decade ago. It is absolutely fantastic, and use it in the garage every morning or afternoon that we come in from a very wet walk. Luke-warm air at a high velocity gets the job done that is nearly impossible in other ways.

Dries with air not heat, and dramatically cuts down on bath time.if you have Coated Dogs this is a must have. A ....ava lot better than using a hand held hair dryer designed for human hair. I previously thought that one of these dryers were to expensive, but the time saved changed my mind

Buying a 2nd one, after over 20 years!
By deejoho on Nov 7, 2018
We're a 24-year-old sanctuary, and our first Air Force Commander finally bit the dust this past week, after over 20 years! It's powerful- and for that reason is extremely loud. It's not just the noise that scares some dogs, though; it's the force of the air coming out of the hose. We haven't been able to use it on many younger dogs, but the older, hard-of-hearing (or really laid back) dogs seem to enjoy it, especially if it's used in a circular motion, like a "massage". The air heats up after a few minutes, but it's from the friction of the motor, not from a heater, so it never gets too hot. The one we bought years ago came with a cage attachment but wasn't recommended as a cage dryer because We're a 24-year-old sanctuary, and our first Air Force Commander finally bit the dust this past week, after over 20 years! We also took advantage of the powerful force of air and blew dust out of equipment, etc! Just be prepared for everything flying all around you. Great product! … more

I love this dryer! I have a sheltie with a lot of fur, this dryer really speeds up the process of drying, and the adjustable feature is great for drying around the head and ears.

Excellent Blower/Dryer

My dog has bad Allergies. She did a lot of scratching until I got the Air Force 4 hp Variable speed blower. I blow her off every morning; it has done wonders.
