    Beefy scratching post!

    We bought this for our 10 month old growing kitten. His reach was 34" when we bought this, and as he is still growing we wanted something that would last. He was using his old 18" kitten post, and would have to scrunch himself down to semi-use it. When this beast arrived (I measured it out and knew how large it would be, thanks to the handy size tab), we got it assembled quickly and Skeeter hesitated to use it for maybe 2 minutes. He loves being able to stretch out and scratch. He starts at the middle and works his way too the top, all while his feet are on the base. The base. Oh man is this thing sturdy! He is able to sprint to the post and gets crazy when he scratches and the post never budges. So so so happy with our purchase, this seems like it will last our boy a long time! … more

    Huge scratch post

    This scratch post was easy to put together and seems very solid. However, I'm having a hard time getting my cat interested in it--I tried some catnip spray yesterday, but although she rubbed up against the post (which is a step forward--it was so big she was afraid of it at first), she hasn't scratched This scratch post was easy to put together and seems very solid.
